Welcome to the world Caleb John!
March 30, 2011 - Cheryl Clarke
My niece, Diana Rizzo-Petlock, and her husband Joshua, welcomed thier first born son into the world Monday around 3:30 a.m. The new little member of the family weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 22 inches long. He was born at Towanda Hospital and is the first grandchild of my youngest brother Mike of Syracuse and Diana's mother, Susan of Wyalusing. They are deleriously happy and I know how they feel. I remember when my little Julia, now 26 months old, was born, and how fast the time has flown and how much she has changed. She now can talk, and is a little chatterbox. We visited with her and her parents over the weekend for her father Aaron's birthday March 28, and it was pure bliss to hear her sweet little voice as she ran into the kitchen calling for me to come and take her to pet our elderly cat, Toffee, who is 12 years old in April. I am so proud of Aaron and Julia's mother, Sara. They are awesome parents, so patient with her and the love she returns to them is so evident. It is wonderful to see. My husband and I feel like we did a pretty good job in raising Aaron and his younger brother Micah. Our family is very close if not in miles, and I miss them every day, even more since my parents passed away within the past three years. Blessings to Diana, she looks amazingly rested and lovely in the photos taken right after the birth, and you can see that she and Josh, too, will be great parents to their little son.
