Montoursville vs. Loyalsock 2nd inning update

Montoursville Second: Adam Hook hits an infield single down the third-base line. Ryan Mondell pops out to first base. Andrew Null flies out to right field. Aaron Cole flies out to center field. Loyalsock Second: Spencer Underdown strikes out. James Krizan grounds out to the mound.

Notes: Defense has been a problem all season for Montoursville. It allowed three runs in the first despite Clark surrendering no hits. The Warriors have been able to overcome those miscues for the most part this season, but if they don't shore up that defense, they are playing with fire entering the postseason. Have to thank Todd Bartley again for letting me use his computer to provide live inning-by-inning updates of these games. Dr. Masse is very, very appreciative! Good play by Montoursville first baseman on a high throw to retire Krizan, one inning after he made a nice scoop at first base to end the inning.
