Amy is the marketing manager for the Altoona Mirror. She is the current proud mom of Oakley, her 2-year-old rescue Golden, who she is certain is "Rainman" in disguise... plus 2 of the sweetest cats, Bo and Gracie - her little ghetto kids - found and rescued right from the streets on Altoona. Her beautiful Golden seniors, Mazey and Jesse (in photo - passed away in 4/10 and 1/08 respectively and still remain very close to her heart just like all her other senior rescues over the past 10 years.) Amy is a big advocate of adopting hard-to-place senior pets, volunteer rescue organizations, and raising animal welfare awareness. Amy has opened her home to many foster and adopted dogs, cats and other critters over the years turning her home into nothing short of a zoo – or barn, as her mother calls it. Home is where the heart is and there is no shortage of unconditional love at the Hanna household -- ever!
