Rev Joel Otto says it right to the point. The law requires that you follow it perfectly. Romans 2:12 says it plainly "Those who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law, and those who sin under the law will be judged by the law." But then the next chapter in Romans gives the solution. Romans 3:21-22a states that there is a righteousness apart from the law has been known and the law and the prophets testify. It comes through faith in Christ Jesus."
