Pave the streets in South Williamsport now that they are ruined from everybody having to replace the sewer laterals. Maybe have the Chesapeake Bay Foundation pay for the paving. Worry about a flower box later. Codes get violated in the borough and it seems they only act on the ones they want to. The borough said they would pave or at least fix the lower end of Kane Street last year, they LIE, i called,they said they would fix the street and they did not. Liars! Flower box! give it a break! Take a look at some of the more serious violations around the borough and worry about them first. Leave this child alone!

Screw Codes and their stupid laws. Personally I think Codes over exceeds what their rights should be in regards to other people's property.

I think it's fascinating that so many people want to usurp codes and laws because they like a planter box. My question to them would be, do you want la and order or do you want mob rule?

The TABA INN violates many CODES and the town government from the Mayor to the Janitor turn a blind eye too that dump it needs too be shut down! Leave the little girls flower box alone!

You know Mr. Hill, your opinion that the "box" is well made and looks nice, that you know that the "box" is not a hazard after you trespassed on someone else's driveway to prove it, the fact that you have been invited to visit the "box" any time you want, and the fact that you would fight to the end if it were your "box", unfortunately does not change the the fact that the "box" is illegal according to the building code of South Williamsport.

Well...looking nice and following the rules stinks sometimes. Grey is grey....lets keep everything black and white or at best case by case. Love the story, but it seems short cuts didn't work here.
