[ In a late-night email, Marino said, "Today I voted to keep tax rates low for hard-working, middle class families and family-owned small businesses.]
Which was also a Vote to continue the ever growing budget deficit..!
Am I the only one that understands the meaning of the words " Temporary & Cut" ..?
And that * ending * the Cut is not an Increase.

Can you say "taxation without representation"? We are truly screwed and have no way out. I grieve for my grand- children and am glad my son teaches them how to live off the land.

Obama has shown lack of leadership? How about John Boehners severe lack of leadership!

All the tax cuts should have been allowed to expire. All income levels. The voters want big government and they need to pay for it.
Obama's not done, of course. Next up will be deductions and loopholes. He will argue that everyone agrees that these should be closed, while ignoring that they are to be closed while lowering taxes, not raising them.
Obama will say that this is needed to cut the deficit and debt, while submitting enormous budgets laden with investments for education, healthcare, roads and bridges, etc. Same thing over and over.
There will be no fiscal sanity until Obama leaves office. If we can ever recover depends on how much the House can block in the next four years.
