Sorry that should say "building this new building" not "closing this building"

The district has been very forthright in disclosing this project. When Roosevelt was closed they started the discussion of closing this building. This is in turn allowing them to close Sheridan and Round Hills and reconfigure the district into a more effective configuration.
I would blame the sub standard coverage of the project by the Sun Gazette for the lack of community knowledge.

This project started as a new service center then evolved into a new middle school...what surprises are they holding secret now? This district seems to have little regard for the taxpayers and the board members are seemingly insulated from the opinions of the public. I guess they have a fat checkbook...so who cares....right!
