The plow truck drivers just can't win can they. First, they get yelled at by residents because they can't plow the snow quick enough then when they do plow, they tick some other people off.
With the last 2 snow events the mere presents of vehicle traffic does not make roads "passable".
To do your shoveling before the plow truck arrives is just asking for this to happen. I mean where did this person think they were going to push the snow?
As far as this article is concerned, I disagree, the Plow truck drivers are doing their jobs. But I DO think they didn't plow the main streets quick enough, however, it's done and over with and the roads are fine now, so perhaps next time, they'll respond quicker, it afterall, was the first storm of the season.
What does*****ME OFF in regards to the area that being discussed is all the road construction that I believe is being done by the water company, 3rd Street, Arch Street, and Trenton avenue are absolutely terrible to drive on now.
Well...for starters, I barely make $17,000 a year, I am growing very sick of our economy and governmental excuses, I can't find a better job to save my life, I'm buried in student loan and medical bill debt, the 'light' at the end of the tunnel has disappeared and I just think people should have more important things to complain about than a Snow Plow Trucker doing his job. There are actually things that ARE wrong with this city and economy.
WW, what sort of skills do you have. I'm a white collar guy but our company has a foundry that is usually hiring. Not the best job in the world but I'm sure you salary would be better. If I can help......
If there is enough snow in your street, that a plow running up it blocks off your parking space, then your street NEEDED TO BE PLOWED. If you went out and groomed your parking space with that much snow still in the street, or on it's way, it's YOUR fault that your space got blocked.
