Improvement continues at Williamsport

Blah...blah...more propaganda from this district. I resent paying school tax to this district and if I had school aged children, they would be home or cyber schooled. They can NEVER just get down to the basics of academics and discipline. NOT much of either one unless you come from an academic or disciplined family! Schools CAN'T take the place of a good family and that's NOT their business either!

I don't have school children either but I value the role public education plays in our society. If this rhetoric, I like it because it's supported data. Solid evidence that students of all backgrounds are learning and student discipline is improving. Thank you to the Millionaire staff for working together to better engage and teach our kids!

Andy33-The fact is that children from disciplined families are thriving and succeeding in the district, so why home school? My kids get a wonderful education and extra-curricular experience in the district. Those who resent paying the local taxes should be lobbying the governor and our local representative to have more of the cost of school covered at the state level.

Oldbilltown...my point was....given the present circumstances...I would never want my child exposed to that mentality of fashion/rapping [you know...that pants hanging off your a**] and other associated BS that goes along with this type of environment... children really do need exposure to the other side of culture.
