"The Baby Boomers are starting to retire. When they all go, how are the younger people going to be able to afford the taxes," he asked."

They should probably consult those (same) folks who insisted we could afford tax-cuts...back in 2001 & 2003. Those folks were (also) "noted" business-owners & capitalism "royalty". They should certainly have all the answers...by now.

Shammy, general taxes are not supposed to fund SS. Also, perhaps Obama and his crew of morons shouldn't have given SS less revenue by reducing contributions. You can't have it both ways.

Does anyone know anything about "recall"? This might be a good time to find out more about it. We ALL need to understand that we, the taxpayers and voters employ them. WE are their bosses. Not everyone will be pleased by every vote in Congress, but WE should be able to hand out "pink slips" when congressmen and women don't "do their jobs".

So take YOUR government into YOUR hands and let our senators and representatives know we are very interested in what they do.
