I agree Spike. This is the scary part of how easy it is to get a permit in this state. A simple NCIC check, pay your $25 and walk out in 15 minutes max. Not even a pamphlet to let you know what the law is about the use of deadly force. No requirement to have demonstrated safe handling. You don't have to have a permit to transport or even carry, just carry concealed.

Not here. No "Stand your Ground". Only "Castle Doctrine". Make sure you are familiar with Pa. Law if in Pa. Self defense yes, a bit different from Florida.
