fast and furious killed hundreds and there was little visibility or true concern. No outrage by the President or his staff. Our Diplomat killed and we didn't provide the help to save him and his colegues. No real outrage their either, just political spin and ZERO accountability. Sad days.

this again? One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Give it a rest and come up with some concrete reasons why a civilian should own an assault weapon and high capacity clips whose sole design is to kill as much as possible as quickly as possible.

And please don't give the same company line of "It's my 2nd amendment right." It's my right to live safely in the knowledge that those weapons aren't out there. Period.

@ sideliner, Assault rifles are banned from legal ownership. Maybe you should google and learn what an assault rifle is and how these weapons differ from the rifles that this administration want to restrict.

Also, High capacity "Magazines" are the item you are referring to, "clips" aren't in use with these current weapons. A little education on the topic might help you to understand a little more and be scared a little less.

Talk about hypocrite, what about a president who requires background check on all gun owners coming from a man who has hidden every record he has ever had, sealed medical records, sealed college transcripts, fake birth certificate??, Social Security number from a dead person in Massechusetts?? Wow, he has a lot of room to use his executive order to impose all these restrictions on law-abiding citizens with his record. Everything he is proposing would not have prevented the Newtown shooting, so who is he trying to appease?? The Left maybe. I think so.

Obama, who art in Heaven, can do no wrong. For you to accuse him of hypocrisy will be noted and filed as evidence to justify your future corrective confinement.

We were better-OFF, after BU$HCO initiated "Operation Wide Receiver"...AND, lifted the ban on assault-style weapons????

It's not "this administration"..its our GOVERNMENT... i mean, we were "in bed" with the Sadaam Hussein when they were up against Iran back in the late 80's.. i remember seeing pictures of Rumsfeld having coffee in a photo op with Sadaam.. our gov't will cozy up to what ever entity will support them until that entity becomes a 'threat' and then it becomes 'disposable'.. I am appalled at times when I think of what this gov't has allowed, and then, as time passes, disallowed.. over it's own determination that it has become useless....

Fast & furious did not kill anyone. Using the logic of the gun lovers it was the guns they lost and were eventully used by the drug cartel that killed people.

The gun lovers have no outrage over the slaughter of our own people or our children. .

Chuck, I hate to inform you, but Fast and Furious did kill hundreds of Mexicans and it also killed one of our border patrol agents. No wonder you support the left. You are so misinformed and naive. You really need to stop watching NBC and MSNBC. They really suck.

Operation Wide Receiver had tracking numbers on the guns. The guns Holder gave over did not have tracking numbers and were used for the murders of innocent men, women and children in Mexico, compliments of this regime. Operation Wide Receiver was a totally different operation and not done corruptly like F&F. Look it up

Has anyone else noticed that "Mr. Shame on you Man" has NEVER began a post with his own thoughts? He ALWAYS has to quote another post! Can't he think for himself? I personally find his rambling very boring and lacking of knowledge!

"an administration that deliberately and enthusiastically put arms into the hands of some of the most murderous people on Earth"

Don't you mean the ATF ran this operation as a legal sting operation that failed?

Don't people on the right ever get tired of cooking up the nuttiest conspiracy theories, only to be slapped across the face by reality after a full and complete investigation proves them 100% wrong? Must be building up some wicked cheek calluses.

Like I've said before...

Because I'm a responsible Citizen and I want one..!

And further more the 2nd amendment gives me that * RIGHT *

And as other's have said... It's not the Bill of Wants.... Its the Bill of Rights....!

Trust Me... Unless you are Physically trying to Murder Me now, in the present [ not yesterday or the day before Only right now ] You have nothing to fear by my ownership of not only an look alike Assault Weapon but even an actual Assault weapon.

Or even a Hammer, Screw-driver, ink-pen, Knife, [Butter or Steak] Car, Truck, pitchfork, Bazooka, etc.

PS, Just because someone else is a * Nut-case * does not make me one.

Well I'm a responsible citizen, and an exceptional driver, so I don't think there should be speed limits on roads. I think everyone should be able to drive whatever speed they want where ever they want.

You see the obvious problem with that statement, right Fredzz? Laws in a society aren't all about you. They're about the lowest common denominator. They are about EVERYONE. Didn't you ever hear the phrase "a few people spoiled the party for everyone"? That applies here.

I'm guessing those numbers barely TOUCH the thousands of Iraqis & Iranians who were killed with gas...produced with the raw-materials that Corporate America provided Saddam Hussein.

You are so misinformed and naive.
