Whoa, Jeff33 speaks once again about his vast knowledge of everything! Maybe the lack thereof!!!! Jeff your posts always make me laugh. So in your opinion is Sheriff Lusk a real Sheriff because he is elected? I know how you feel about Penn College Police, I guess because they went to the Police Academy and got certified the same as any other municipal police office; they are not real police. You post more idiot knowledge than most on here. Please get your facts straight before you do next time. Thanks for the comic relief too!

Oh and Judge Kemp is Certified Act 120 as well. You are right, anyone can run for that position but I think the Public who votes would not vote in someone off the street with no knowledge of law, the crimes code, civil law, etc! Once again, your idiot logic presents itself! He is a Judge that does garner respect. Just go in front of him and defend yourself with that theory right there and see how far you get!

Jeff, once again you need to do some homework on your facts, or the lack therof. Here is an excerpt from the Unified Justice page: There are 544 magisterial district judges based in community courts throughout the Commonwealth. These judges are not required to be lawyers, but they must undergo legal training and attend continuing legal education programs. So with that said, Judge Kemp is a Judge; that garners respect, even from you. As far as Sheriff Lusk goes, who else has improved the Sheriff's Dept more in two years?

He is not a Judge all he can handle are speeding tickets and summary offences as for school its a course out in Nevada that everyone passes as long as your fee is paid, kinda like the Act120 to get certified to be a police officer.

Jeff, I forgot who I'm dealing with; you are the smartest guy and know everything. Last I checked that course was given right in Harrisburg and is goverened by the MJEB, not out in Nevada! Summary Offenses are just part of what a Magisterial District Judge can handle. You may want to do more research before you spew more of your lack of knowledge! I realize arguing with an idiot is very hard to do. No matter what facts I tell you, you will form your own opinion based on whatever you feel and will write them for all to see. You make reading comments laughible as you never have a fact to point out just opinions based on your lack of knowledge. Good luck in the future with your vast knowledge of Police Officers and Magisterial District Judges. I hope you get the chance to meet both, as you're fighting your way out of a ticket. Don't forget to use your defense of " he is not a real judge" and "everyone passes as long as your fee is paid"! I'd like to see where you get

You can compare him to a "Alderman" handles minor infractios and too see if a misdemenor or felony is a prima facie case to go on to a REAL JUDGE! He's not a real Judge!
