On the other hand, I remembered that Republicans don't much believe in real polls. They prefer those cooked up by Dick Morris and others at Fox "News".

Both Gallup and The Washington Post have done recent polling on every aspect of the President's proposals. Every single aspect of them is supported by better than 50% of those polled. The Post broke down their polling by party affiliation. The only item NOT supported by better than 50% of Republicans was the assault weapon ban. Even among Republican respondents, EVERY other proposal such as limited magazine capacity, universal background checks, increased mental health access, etc was supported by better than 50%.

That's the way it is with everything he touches! He has accomplished NOTHING in the last 4 years except spending, vacationing, golfing, basketball, kissing the backsides of Hollywood trash, and campaigning, campaigning, campaigning.
Absolutely a worthless waste!

Let him take it to the people and see what happens. I think the NRA will be surprised.

"He made his push in typical Obama fashion - making sure that Congress is seen as the problem and he is seen as the visionary, dragging everyone along."

Yes...I'm sure Mitch McConnell is extremely-upset.
