If a fetus grows into a baby, why isn't the fetus called a baby? The same is true for the "Right-To-Choose" term. It's camouflage to deceive the "TMZ" crowd into thinking that this procedure doesn't really affect anyone. As far as I'm concerned, a baby is a baby from conception and an abortion is the premeditated killing of that baby.

That'd be "too" consistent, for "moralists", huh??

You mean...BESIDES that fact "moralists" are much-too-"busy" to do anything about correcting/modifying/improving adoption-laws??????

Enigma, our 'hot' water holds you to reality. If you are a not a believer in God, STFU. There are many whom are adoptive and HTF do you know that we have no loving, looking for a clean home, adoptive individuals living with us? Sorry, the system doesn't advocate babies only

Laughin, Why haven't you and Spike adopted all of the children? Don't you care? Why do you ask such stupid questions? You try to insinuate that because there are some children without families that it's fine to kill children whose parents don't want them. Should we kill those who have been born whose parents don't want them. Your arguments don't hold water, or anything else. You think that anyone who thinks that babies should not be killed, should adopt all of the unwanted children. What a stupid idea.

Enigma, if a couple truly want a child it shouldn't be contingent on the child's age. Sorry, I agree with Spike. The county has many çhildren in need of a warm home, hot meal and love. If the desire is children, the circumstance shouldn't matter, EVER! So what is really going on Enigma?

spike2,"Amazing how many will not adopt one of these children, have never adopted but will go on and on and on and on and on.."

I have known many people who have tried to adopt American children and only run into heartbreak because of the screwed up adoption laws in this country. Even at that there are more people who want to adopt than there are babies available. It is true that older children are not as easily adopted, but some of that is again the adoption laws.

So spike, maybe before you just go repeating dumb stuff you've heard, you should try to find out what's really going on.

Amazing how all those of the right pretend to have love and empathy in their hearts, until the child is BORN...when the REAL-work starts...after which they wish the Mother "GOOD LUCK!!", and are gone in a cloud-o'-DUST...unless, of course, there's some "need" to stick-around and assure the Mother knows her child should serve as some kind of life-long reminder of the Mother's "poor choices" & "immoral-behavior".

How can the people who cry about abortion support a tool that can slaughter many in a few minutes? How can people who bemoan the the immorality of abortion and indidvidualism support the wholesale suppression of freewill of one sex? How is it those who oppose abortion support the mass poverty and abuse that is perpetuated on our children?

Don't be questioning others morality when you can't addres your own.

Cecil is correct in pointing out the contradiction in the moral outrage and cries for more gun control and the support for late term and partial birth abortion coming from the same people. There’s just no way to explain that away.

You know the right is not more moral than someone from the left. Your ideology does not make a more moral person. Your faith does not make you a more moral person.

There are people who have right wing ideology and faith and attend church and read the Bible and commit acts of violence towards others.

"A report published by the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point Military Academy on Jan. 15 discusses the potential dangers of “violent far-right” organizations, which has angered some conservatives that believe the military should focus on international threats.

The executive summary of the paper, “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right,” claims that “since 2007, there has been a dramatic rise in the number of attacks and violent plots originating from individuals and groups who self- identify with the far-right of American politics.”"

Imagine that.

"Isn't it amazing that we have of this great nation, a president that can go before the world on camera, and get all choked up about the horrible, senseless tragedy of innocent children and adults in Newtown, Conn., a selfish act that took from parents, grandparents, relatives and friends"

Didn't we just go through an election season where the right wing mantra was the President "didn't lead"? So at a time of a great national tragedy, the President steps up and makes statements, you know LEADING, and you complain?

I wonder if Blue Cross/Blue Shield covers brainwashing?
