The proof

January 22, 2013

Are we Americans going to allow gay marriage? You and I have been so apathetic that we have permitted rampant government sponsored abortions. These acts and the ilk are all sins....

The AP as a tursted source?

2016 is not false information, everything is open for review. What bothers progressives is that truth is out there and you are hard pressed to suppress it. Obama's past, present actions speak to his "agenda". So, if attempting to quell the tide, he is his own worse enemy. His rage and disdain for everything this country stands for, is permeating the fabric of our nation as a republic. Your claiming the 2016 to be full of lies, doesn't make it so. Perhaps you would like to dispute the facts presented and quit dirawing on other dubious sources as reference.

Mr. Cohick, You need to get a clue. I can't believe you're still touting claims from the film "Obama's America 2016." Obviously, you don't read much, or you'd know that last year D'Souza's film and books have been exposed as false and full of lies. Even the Associated Press (AP) wrote an informative article revealing that D'Souza's "well-researched" facts were fabrications, and his accusations were without actual evidence. The AP's article was published in about every newspaper in America, including the Sun-Gazette. You should check actual facts before spreading lies.

"The 9/11 muslims are no more muslims than the westboro baptists are Christians."

I'm not certain what country you are from, but to compare attending funerals inthe name of God and shouting nonsense while families are grieving, is pale compared to actually murdering thousands of individuals in the name of a religion that continues to execute/slaughter/torture/honor kill their own, etc. Should I go on? West Boro's actions are not sanctioned by Almighty God. So, please compare with some resemblance, even a tiny bit?

EXCELLENT LETTER, Mr. Cohick.

Now....about those F-16's that we are giving to Egypt? Oh, maybe we sould be privy to the quip to Putin from Hussein, telling him to "wait until after he is elected...he will have more flexibility (paraphrasing)." To do what? This person is an enemy of the state - isn't there something in our laws about aiding and abetting the enemy?

"Children learn to be responsible by the example set by their parents. Unfortunately too many parents are too selfish, too lazy, or just plain irresponsible themselves to teach their children anything. Thus, the cycle continues and keeps expanding. How do we break the cycle and get back to a society where responsible behavior and parenting is the norm is the question." ---Cheyenne

Good question. I would suggest we all start by reading Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. After that, start to follow the principles that it mentions.

"Government asistance programs are not the cause of the breakdown of the family but government programs propitiate (like it?) the continuation of dependency on assistance by Uncle Sam."

You know SF copying someone else's statement did not make you any smarter.

Not everyone who gets assistance from the government stays in the system. But because there is people where this happens you have deemed it bad for all.

"Since your last name is Reeder, I figured you'd actually know how to read (pun intended regardless of spelling). As I illustrated I believe that SF went with the statistics he knew but mentioned that there are similar issues with other races."

Reeder means worker of reeds. SF was specific and since he had the statistics he must know why there is an absence of fathers. Which I wanted him to explain.

#1. We have far bigger issues than gay marriage and gun control. #2. Nothing taints solid and well intended religious principles and the word of God more than those who use religion to justify their ignorance, hatred, and hypocracy. The 9/11 muslims are no more muslims than the westboro baptists are Christians. Claiming a religion is easy. Letting God judge is apparently hard. #3. Our forefathers were no different than the politicians of today. They were among the richest in the nation, fine with freedom for all and freedom of guns, as long as you were a white male, and voiced out against slavery and barbaric injustice, yet allowed it to persist in their own homes. Little has changed.

"broken families are typically on some form of government assistance" - bet there are a whole lot of divorced women, not receiving support, who think you have lost your mind. What's a woman today without a man to support her? It's not 1950 anymore.
