"You mean like the democrats choosing everyone who likes receiving all those handouts?"

Pardon me there Mike, but the states that receive the most "handouts" OVERWHELMINGLY voted for your hero Romney, but why let silly things like facts, or reality taint your comments.

Oh that's right, because someone's great, great, great grandparents were victims of an unjust practice that makes them and all future generations victims also. Too bad more people can't see that the left's continuous fueling of the "I'm not a white male, therefore I am a victim" mentality is simply a ploy to get their vote. Got to give you credit though, you know exactly which buttons to push to sucker in the gullible. By the way, many of the present day white males ancestors probably were slaves of the Ancient Romans. I hope there aren't any seminars held at the coliseum where their ancestors were thrown to the lions.

"B.F.D. Newsflash: slavery ended almost 150 years ago."

And you wonder why the Republican party is circling the drain, and looking to gerrymandering to try and win some elections? As a comedian brilliantly said recently; gerrymandering is when politicians pick their voters, instead of voters picking their politicians.

The Republican party held a minority outreach seminar at a former southern plantation? B.F.D. Newsflash: slavery ended almost 150 years ago.

Carol Moses,

It isn't the law abiding citizens you want to assert your position to. Your words would be better spent, albeit not heeded, on the criminals of society.

And, for this administration to compare himself in any manner to MLK is a miscalculation of large proportion.

"That’s right Vince, Chuck isn’t given to judgments, that requires critical thinking, unlike opinions."

Some people like Phil does neither they are just critical.

Dr. King should be remembered for what he contributed to equal rights, not for criticisms about his personal shortcomings.

Hayes wrote, "As to your other question, MLK did in fact have several affairs with women, but never "beat his wife".

The fact the the PREACHER had several affairs makes him a hypocrit.

As for the wife beating, his closest aid, Rev. Abernathy, confirmed that before his death.

"Another sad part of that story is that it ignored how far the Democrat party has strayed from Dr. King's most famous quote where he hoped that his children would be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

Yes! I remember just a few weeks back when the Democratic party released their list of new committee chair assignments, and EVERY single one of them were white men....oh wait a minute, that was the Republican party.

"you go off on a completely unrelated rant about a White prez you don't like."

Why would you say I "don't like" President Reagan? He clearly has more in common with me than you.

As to your other question, MLK did in fact have several affairs with women, but never "beat his wife". Considering that moronic allegations like that only come from two places, racist websites and chain email, I didn't really feel the need to respond.

I think what's more interesting is why you would believe that.
