Don't worry Relene, I'm sure you're still in the running for the Clinton County straight jacket model of the year.

Does it make you crazy living in a county that shares a name with a terrific President like President Clinton?

"I assume that Clinton was contacted to see if he was agreeable to the award before it was made public. I think he should have turned it down."

Always able to distinguish a post with reason from progressive jibberish.

David, you do bring balance into an otherwise chaotic discussion.

Hayes,

"It was soon revealed the ad was factually incorrect. Sidwell Friends, where Obama’s daughters attend school, does not have any armed guards."

Do you actually want us to believe that Obama's daughters have no guards on them?

I'm sorry....you only meant on the literal door itself, right?

This is an award that only has meaning to the recipient. If it was husband of the year I could understand the brouhaha.

Super Dad Bill Clinton? HA! I liked the Clinton Administration.

But I think I'm a pretty good dad, I don't sleep around on my wife, I make sure my kid is taken care of and has everything he needs and most of the things he wants (he's only 1 so it comes cheap for now).

Am I a super dad? Idk, not for me to decide, I'm a dad who tries really hard. But I do know there are dads out there that're a lot more worthy of such an honor than Bill Clinton.

For the life of me I can not figure out why the conservatives have their panties in a knot over this.

John Hilarity? I haven't seen him post here in a long time. Am I missing something?

Did you not know Chris the conservative poster here think that John has a new screen name. John has not been active even at the local liberal web site. But they are sure as the sun will rise and set that he is here poting as Shaman, Rick, you or me for that matter. They think every liberal who posts here is John.

Do any of you supporting this nomination know how the child of a parent who is unfaithful to their spouse feels? So you actually think this behavior doesn't hurt the child? When anyone engages in behavior that they know will hurt a child, physical or emotional, is a form of abuse. Abusive people do not deserve and awards or recognition for their behavior unless it is negative recognition. Chelsea should NOT be the target of this discussion, her father is a poor example of a father/husband. Her mother is a liar and despite the circumstances of being raised by two very self-serving, disfunctional individuals, she seems to be doing okay.

"I don't recall Chelsea Clinton being (repeatedly) busted for underage-drinking (in Austin), or drunken-driving (most everywhere-else...for that matter).

You'd have nominated a Bush, or Reagan, instead"?? MrShaman

No, I would have nominated Rick Santorum OR Mitt Romney! The media love of the left continues....

"And, your credentials to make this assertion would be?"

I don't know Relene, shall we compare credentials? I said, through the entire, LONG election that the Republicans weren't fielding a SINGLE viable candidate. YOU said your diety would pick the winner of the election, and you would abide by that decision, and it would DEFINITELY be Mitt Romney, and that Romney would win PA, which I assured you he would lose.

Now let's fast forward to today. Who won the election? Who won PA? Have you abided by what you said would be your deity's selection, as you CLEARLY stated you would on multiple occasions?

Credentials? You must be joking.

"Slick Willie deserves the 'Father of the Year' award as much as Barry deserves the Nobel Peace Prize."

Oh but wait Steeler Fan......He is up for the prestigious, "Husband of the Year," for visiting Hillary while she was hospitalized for her "brain problems."

"How would you know that Phil? Have you spent a lot of time around president Clinton and his daughter? He may be the greatest dad in the world. His daughter certainly turned out fine."

And, your credentials to make this assertion would be?

It is a sad commentary that any man would think that having several affairs is a role model of a good father. But, that moral relevancy detour is one easily trod on by liberal/ progressives.

"House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) criticized the National Rifle Association on Wednesday over an advertisement that targeted President Barack Obama’s daughters, according to the Washington Post.

“Our kids are out of bounds,” Ryan told reporters. “The Obama campaign [and] the national media respected that of my family, and we’re grateful for that. Our kids ought to be out of bounds.”

The NRA ad, released last week, attacked Obama as an “elitist hypocrite” because his daughters have armed guards protecting their school. The NRA has called for armed guards to be placed in every school to prevent mass shootings, a proposal the President has mostly dismissed.

It was soon revealed the ad was factually incorrect. Sidwell Friends, where Obama’s daughters attend school, does not have any armed guards."

"Rick Santorum’s wife says in an interview that their decision to bring their dead baby son to their kids wasn’t “some crazy thing” and that it was a personal way to cope with his death. In an interview with CBS News’s Jan Crawford, Karen Santorum opened up about the criticism she and her husband faced for taking their son, Gabriel, home after he died shortly after being born at 20 weeks gestation. The Santorums have been criticized by some for letting their children hold the dead baby; in the interview, Santorum said that “no one can tell me how to grieve.” “We brought Gabriel home from the hospital to have a funeral mass and to bury him. And so they twist it and make it sound like it was some crazy thing.” “We brought him home from the hospital to introduce him to our kids and place him, it was for the funeral mass and the burial. And what is so sad to me Jan is that no one can tell me how to grieve, and I’m not going to tell anyone else how to grieve, it's not right"
