The "S" curve in front of the post office could certainly use some improvement, but I doubt resurfacing will do the trick. There is a lot large truck traffic that ends up on the side road just past the post office that actually gets staged from the shoulder of the road in this area and it wrecks the soft shoulder. Maybe the city could work out a better business plan with these truckers to conduct their business on a parking lot rather than the side of the road.

Why should my tax dollars go toward Reach Road? I don't use it. Sound familiar??

Honestly, it'd also be nice to have a more direct route to Reach Road from up near Roosevelt Middle School, but that's just a side note suggestion.

On topic, I do agree that the road needs repaved but has anybody really looked at Reach Road lately? There's been a lot of layoffs, and a lot of gas lines have taken over the empty buildings on reach road, so there's this talk about moving in new companies and jobs, but..where is the real estate for it?

They should fix the roads in Newberry which have been all dug up and poorly filled. Those roads are in a terrible condition now.

SO TRUE rsrobbins. I don't know what the heck the water company is doing on 3rd/Arch and clear down to Trenton avenue but the street repairs are appalling.
