"The move angered a significant portion of the show's customer base, and a growing number of vendors had announced they were pulling out of the show."

This is a big win for those that will protect the 2nd Amendment for all Americans. Reed Exhibitions is a company from the UK. They made the decision to change the "atmosphere" of the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show. Because so many vendors and big name sponsors such as Cabela's and the Outdoor Channel withdrew from the event, it shows how serious Americans are about protecting our Constitutional rights. Reed Exhibitions should be banned from running this and other shows in our country. Let it be known that this was the first of many victories for proud, LEGAL, and responsible gun owners from the good old USA!!

Well over 300 hundred vendors had cancelled. Reed didn't announce this change until 2 weeks ago ? Are you kidding me ? Por management decision to say the least. Long after payments were in, hotels rented, etc. Whoever made this decision really had their head up their butt. The city of Harrisburg will take a big hit financially & next years show ( if there is one )will probably be held in Hershey with a new firm running it. This is all on the shoulders of Reed - like it or not the sale of these weapons if done within the law is legal.

I'm just going to make a brief comment and perhaps in the future I'll just stay out of the 'BAN GUNS, THE TRIGGERS ARE EVIL" threads.

This topic has gone far beyond a contorted piece of metal that shoots a projectile and into the realm of civil rights. Once you cross that line, there is no going back. Once you allow the country to take what is yours, they will not stop taking.

Think about the movie Hunger Games or heck, Escape from L.A. or <enter your apocolyptic movie here>. No I'm not saying that's what our world is going to become, but underneath it all, how do you think the world got that way in the movies? The government was able to take total control.

Ask yourself before you start voting again on any topics or candidates. Is that what you really want?

Reed Exhibitions is a worm. They can go pound sand as far as I am concerned. My family will never attend one of their events again.
