That contract should have contained a bond to cover unpaid bills....you have people in that administration that know about bonding...where were they when this was going down?!?!

An excellent op/ed Sun-Gazette. And make no mistake, it's the Mayor himself that "strong armed" this deal, and thus he is soley responsible for the fiasco that it has become.

This was rushed through by the administration at city hall. Whatever made them think anyone would want to sit outside in freezing temperatures to watch hockey? Also, the price per ticket started out at $14.00 per ticket, dropped to $10.00, and ended up at $7.00 per ticked. This should have been the first indication that there was a problem. With the state of the current ecomony, public officials need to scrutinize every purchase that it made and justify cost to the taxpayers. Sure hope the taxpayers of Williamsport don't get stuck with this utility bill.

Whose name is the utilities in? I loved the ads they ran on wilq "they are your Williamsport outlaws" the name outlaws sure has come to mean something here lol
