I don't know, Rick. According a FOX News fair and balanced report, there are quite a few municipalities and even some states that are taking LaPierre's advice and arming teachers and security persons in schools. As one Tennessee lawmaker put it: "We know what works."
Is Harry Reid even going to bring Feinstein's bill up for a vote? Doesn't look like it.

I do believe the NRA is on the defense. Wayne LaPierre, good luck, the American people are speaking and it is not looking good for you.

They just can't tell us apart Chris, not surprising since they paint the left with one broad stroke.

"Automatic firearms are not banned. One just has to go through the permitting process dummy."
And that process is so lenient, that on every street, there are six or seven people that have fully automatic weapons right?
And of course it's so strict, that our military and police have been using flintlocks ever since, right?
I think your bulb is misfiring today dbratz.

Another responsible gun owner:
"A 69-year-old war veteran and former missionary was arrested over the weekend on the suspicion of killing a 22-year-old Cuban immigrant who mistakenly arrived in his driveway because of faulty GPS directions.
Gwinnett County jail records obtained by The Atlanta Journal Constitution indicated that Phillip Walker Sailors was charged on Sunday with the murder of Rodrigo Abad Diaz."
Hey aren't "former missionaries" usually christians of some sort? When will christians gain control over their more radical members?

"No one wants to get rid of the NRA"
I certainly don't. I would however like to end their ability to bribe politicians, the same way I'd like to stop unions, and corporations from doing the same thing.

"After the assault rifle is taken away, what will be next? The shotgun, the pistol."
Yes! They banned fully automatic weapons in the thirties, and look where that got us.

The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness sounds pretty absolute to anyone but a collectivist; and no one has the right to shout fire in a crowded theater, unless there is a fire, as that would be putting others lives at risk, infringing upon their rights.

I love the hypocrisy from the left. They love to talk about the "slippery slope" when it comes to such topics as abortion, the Patriot Act & Social Security. But they don't see one when comes to banning certain types of guns.
After the assault rifle is taken away, what will be next? The shotgun, the pistol.
You libs can't even be consistent.

So it isn't an absolute right.

When each word in the text of the 2nd Amendment is given full effect, the Amendment is most naturally read to secure to the people a right to use and possess arms in conjunction with service in a well-regulated militia. So far as appears, no more than that was contemplated. But the Court itself reads the Second Amendment to protect a “subset” significantly narrower than the class of persons protected by the First and Fourth Amendments; when it finally drills down on the substantive meaning of the Second Amendment, the Court limits the protected class to “law-abiding, responsible citizens”

No one wants to get rid of the NRA, we just want to do to it what the right wants to do to unions.

I did and it was awesome."
If Obama comes on the TV I immediately change channels. He makes me want to regurgitate. To see the two of them together would be worse then having the flu.
From mid-2006 to mid 2011 he told enough lies to last a lifetime. So, thanks, but no thanks to this worthless liar-in-chief.
