Where were tough questions?

February 2, 2013

Just watched Hilary and Obama on 60 Minutes talking about the Benghazi fiasco and coverup and I've not seen anyone backpedal so fast since Michael Jackson previewed moonwalking! – but "What Does It......

Secretary Clinton opened up a family size can of whoop *** on them, that's what happened.

I wonder if the letter writer noticed that while Bush was President, there were TWELVE US embassy attacks on foreign soil, with SIXTY DEATHS. Funny, I don't recall hearing conspiracy theories then. I don't recall any right wingers writing in and complaining then.

I wonder why the discrepancy? One could say that the difference is that the Benghazi attack happened shortly before a Presidential election, but the 9/17/2008 car bombing attack on the US embassy in Sana'a Yemen that killed SIXTEEN people, actually happened 6 days closer to the election.

Where were the tough questions then Mr. Petcavage? Did you even know it happened?

Does the right in America EVER get tired of stumbling around with only one side of every story? I'd think by now, we'd start seeing hoards of people limping around with one leg shorter than the other from the sheer weight of it.

"And what happened to all those tough Congressmen who were going to get to the bottom of this Hilary cried, whined and barked and you all folded like a cheap suit!" - Paul J. Petcavage

Not to worry. I'm sure all o' you 2012 Losers are looking forward to taking-her-on, 2017 thru 2024, during her Presidency!

I'm sure you'll come-up with SOMETHING, to resume your whining. In the mean-time, you're gonna have to rely-upon your ol' stand-byes; your wives.

Absolutely, NOT!!!! If you'd recall, correctly...that was considered "unpatriotic", back-then...and, we were (typically) reminded of that, daily.

Coverup? How about the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" lie which cost over 4,000 American lives. I was quite satisfied with Mrs. Clintons answers at the two hearings. Anyone who isn't didn't watch any of it.

Are you kidding? Please provide us the number of US military contractors killed in Iraq, because they were "denied the resources to protect themselves". How many US troops were blown to bits there because, "we go to war with the army you have---not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time." You mean to tell me those troops weren't screaming for properly armored vehicles?

Gee Premier, "where were the tough questions"?

Oh how sweet, the Barack and Hillary show; let me swoon some more and say how fortunate and blessed we are to have them in leadership!!! Don't they look like an attractive couple. Ou Ah!

They can't even make a decision on the XL Pipeline. It has been a year since the President delayed the permit because they didn't have enough information. A year!

"Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman (R) sent a letter approving the rerouted Keystone XL pipeline to President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the first day of President Obama’s second term—a measure of the letter’s importance."

Maybe they ought to stop spending time making public appearances and spend more time trying to remove roadblocks to increase employment and reduce our gas prices.

I suppose you would do a stellar cross and break HC down? We all understand 4 Americans died, so did 4000. The first 4 are unacceptable. We should have better embassy protection. The 4000 were sent based on a lie.

That simply is not true. REPUBLICANS denied funding for further study on the impacts of the pipeline, without that study, there will be no pipeline, and that has been made CRYSTAL clear.

And remind me again why Americans would want a pipeline that would ship oil to other places in the world, AND according to one study, reduce gas supplies in the US midwest, thus increasing gas prices there? Are you saying you want to rachet up gas prices in the US breadbasket?

I think someone's starting to understand that a certain group of people in Congress [cough REPUBLICANS cough] considerably slashed the embassy security budget.

Do you realize how stupid that sounds? If there wasn't enough money to allocated from elsewhere in the trillions of dollar budget to protect the people there, they should have shut it down. Next excuse???

That is precisely what will happen if the XL Pipeline is not approved. The pipeline will be built to the west coast so that oil can be exported to Asian refineries and markets. In the meantime, we still have tankers delivering crude oiled from the Persian Gulf to the US. We pay the higher transportation fees and create more carbon footprint bringing the crude to US refineries.

Export of refined products is one of the things that helps our US trade balance in the world. It says "Made in the USA"

Of course the current President like shipping jobs to China. Also his buddy George uses his trains to deliver North Dakota oil to markets. Why would the President want it?

The XL pipeline is for a Canadian Company. Thw US will not see much of that oil for our use. It will not create that many jobs for the US economy, it will not lower gas prices here as a matter of fact the gas prices in the Midwest would increase.

Sorry but you apparently don't understand how funds are allocated to govt depts and agencies. They are only allocated for a specific purpose, and can only be used for that purpose. That's why I said "slashed the embassy security budget", and not "slashed the State Dept budget". With regards to State, Congress has decided they may change that now, and allow them more discretion over their budget.

U.S. Embassy Bombing in Turkey Was Eighth Embassy Attack During Secretary of State Clinton’s Reign

Posted by Jim Hoft on Friday, February 1, 2013, 10:21 AM

Looking Back at a Failed and Bloody Record–

A suicide bomber blew up today at the US Embassy in TURKEY killing himself and one other person.

Today’s attack marked the final US embassy attack under the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s reign at the State Department.

** Here’s a look back at the US embassy attacks under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

Islamist protesters attacked the US Embassy in JAKARTA in September screaming “F**k America!”

Islamic radicals chanting “Death to America!” stormed the US Embassy in YEMEN in September.

In November 2012 the Talban carried out a massive attack near the US Embassy in KABUL.

Islamists stormed the US Embassy in SUDAN in September.

An Egyptian protester tries to raise an islamic flag at the US embassy during a protest in CAIRO in January.

Black Flag over the embassy: Local TV images show a black Islamic flag flying over the American embassy in TUNIS.

In Benghazi, LIBYA - Our consulate was destroyed and our ambassador murdered. And, now we know the al Qaeda flag was seen at the consulate during the terrorist strike on the embassy. And it was seen several times over Benghazi government buildings during the year.

Al-Qaeda was involved in a number of the attacks…

BUT OBAMA SAYS AL QAEDA IS ON THE RUN!!!!!

Yep, two great Americans. One President now, one may be President in a few years. If she wants it, today's Republican party certainly won't be able to stop it. Another Democrat maybe, but not the Republicans, not without a severe makeover at least.
