Future presidentFebruary 4, 2013There are rumors circulating around that Vice President Joe Biden might run for President in 2016. Really? Why don’t we nominate Beetle Bailey. He’s probably more qualified.... Showing 25 of 42 comments Show More Comments

There's always some uninformed clown hanging around the water-cooler trying to kick-up a conversation. I wonder if they ever get frustrated that the only acknowledgement they get, is a rolling of the eyes and a hasty "uh-huh". Well Al, "uh-huh" @@

Bobbie - Biden wasn't asking for donations.

I guess it depends on the donations promised to him.

Bobbie - I too have met Biden. He was personable and gracious. Let's be honest folks, we are posting in the Sun Gazette, Biden is Vice President. Apparently he is smarter than we are. In fairness, we always have elected officials who have a foot in mouth problem. Imagine Bush and Biden together. Between Biden blurts and Bushisms, we would never go without new material.

Seems I already voted on the comments without even voting. BTW Bobbie, it's a Yugo, not a Hugo. A Hugo is an award that Science Fiction writers award.

Please.
This morning, I'd heard Rubio has NO intentions of running in 2016.
Even he knows he doesn't want to be the next Dole/McCain/Romney; the next Republican "throw-away" candidate...against Hillary!!!

"I think Daffy Duck would be a better choice then tail-gunner Joe."
And I KNOW that Joe Biden would be a better candidate that any of the 2012 Republican candidates, with the possible exceptions of Jon Huntsman, or Buddy Roemer. He would certainly have a better shot of winning, than any of them.
Isn't it funny how people on the right so often mention cartoon characters, or comic strips? It's the childlike mentality possibly.

ole Jerr "And I actually like Joe Biden. What's not to like?"
Have you ever met Biden? Well I have and he is a complete butthead. FWIW it wasn't at any political function that I met him either.

And I actually like Joe Biden. What's not to like? In what way has he not competently executed the office of the Vice President?
Would I vote for Biden for President? No, probably not. I would prefer a younger candidate.

Al Mills must have done some extensive research to be able to write the letter. I could not find any information confirming Beetle Bailey is a democrat.

Sarah Palin is done. The party will not touch her. She is toxic. If nothing else convinces you, her dumping by Fox should.

And for the record, I would vote for Hillary Clinton because I believe that during the Clinton Administration we had a great economy and in large part it was due to the fact that the Republicans and Clintons worked well together. While, as always, they were divided on some issues, spending was controlled and applied in the right places, the issues were put in the right order of importance, jobs were growing, and the economy was booming.
I would gladly vote for a Clinton to hold the Presidential office again. I understand that Republicans are going to disagree with that and I can appreciate that. But since I stated who I would vote for, I felt it was only fair to give some reasoning behind it as well.

This is the first you'd heard-about-that...SERIOUSLY??!!!!
It's about time someone was rewarded...for running Nixon outta D.C.!!!!
Yes, this is the first time they have talked about it in a somewhat official sense, since she had originally said she wasn't going to run again, which was a while ago. (at least its the first time i've noticed it, i'm not an avid politic watcher)

The left will probably run Hilary or Biden in 2016 because Bernie Madoff will not be released from prison yet.

Try, again, there, Skippy.

I think Daffy Duck would be a better choice then tail-gunner Joe. btw WW, the VP debate was a debacle for Biden, but sadly, Ryan didn't call him out on it. Something along the line of, 'Mr. Vice-President, why do you find all of these very serious issues so*****funny?'
