cheyenne: I told you Shaman would be back going on and on and on. You do know that scum in a pond always surfaces for awhile before returning to the bottom of the pond again!

Boy this is fun, I can now see why the Libs enjoy this so much." - Premier

It's incredible really." - CHayes

...Only if you'd describe the Keystone Kops as being "incredible".

The Grand Oil Party surely has been proving THAT, lately!!!
Hmmmmm...maybe they DO need more weapons!!!!!!

...Especially when you consider...those, who insist on being part of an armed-citizenry, are the same types who are attempting to block "access to voting".

"Rich Dvorscak, your LTE is spot on. Posting schools with signs that read "THIS IS A GUN FREE ZONE" invites those who need some place to make a name for themselves an easy solution. Who can walk into a school with a gun and win the battle? Whatever 'battle' they are trying to solve. Good post Josh84!!!!!" - Luey22

Exactly!!! How "comforting" it could be, for parents, knowing there's a teacher/security-person at their child's school, who has a reputation as the "fastest-gun" in their school-district...and, PROVES it on a fairly-regular basis!!!!

You need to put-down the bottle & step-away...for obvious-reasons.
You saw these (supposed) "vultures", a LOT, during your (inebriated?) third-grade years???? MrShaman

So...the reference to "vultures" (actually) made sense, to you, huh??
Interesting!

That female spokesperson, for the NRA, who's been on T.V., recently, suggested...a woman with a "big, scary-looking gun" can make all the difference!!

Reeder:"You said both in your last post. The writer equated guns with God."
Well then using that retarded logic, you just equated guns and God in your last sentence.
You can wipe that dumbfounded look off your face now.

""You would rather have an al Qaeda member living next to you than an atheist? Wow"
Once again, Hazy's lack of common sense is showing"
MY lack of common sense? You said you would rather have a religious gun owner living next to you than an atheist. Are you claiming that al Qaeda members aren't religious, or that they don't love guns?

Reeder please attempt to grow a brain. Read that last part slowly. It's really quit simple. It was either, or, neither or both.
Or is your rational that he said God and gun in the same LTE?

One more try. This time with proofreading. Another thought: It is unreasonable to assume that the armed citizenry of our country will act in a cohesive, organized fashion. In fact, it is very possible that factions of an armed citizenry may come into conflict with each other.

"In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny,[Possibly not, Egypt's overthrow of Mubarak was not done with arms.I think the same was true in Algeria] since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized[An armed citizenry will put up more resistance than an unarmed citizenry but to say the armed citizenry will never be subject to the rule of tyrants is a stretch. Eventually, resources for the armed citizens can dry up.""
Now, as this idea relates to the US. If our access to voting isn't sufficient to prevent tyranny in our country, then depending on an armed citizenry is really a great step backwards.

Remarkable, I saw a simular study that suggest a person owning a swimming pool is far more likely to have a family member die from drowning than a person who only has a garden hose.
