The same poll you referenced had 3% of participants trusting "comedy central" for hard news.

Reputable poll huh?

Pew Research. They do the poll on credibility of news sources every year.

CHayes--Actually, theres some new polling out, and the only news outlet currently that more people trust, than don't trust is PBS.

Seems rather funny since a "free"station program(newshour)available in every household draws a fraction of the audience a pay cable "Fox" does.

Hayes, where did your info come from? Cut and paste from media matters? Paul Krugman?

"I'm guessing she either thinks that's true because she read it in a chain email, or as USAborn said the other day, it's true because it's "on the web"."

It's true because its on the web? You are as stupid as that girl on the TV ad who states that bit of lunacy while waiting for the French model she met on the web!!!!

How can anyone read the crap put out on the leftist sites and believe that everything on the web is true? ROFLMBO!!!!

By the way, exactly where did I make that comment?

Ah, I see. Poor little boobie copied and pasted information from what is possibly the worst imaginable source for anything. Dead Andrew Breitbart's site. It appears there's an epidemic going on, on the right. Bobbie Jindal seems to have been on the money when he said the Republican party has become "the stupid party".

That's not called "rules of engagement" you half wit, its called a status of forces agreement.

And just like clockwork, boobie lies again. Money is allocated to the State Dept in pots, and is NOT discretionary. Money allocated for transportion, MUST be spent for transportation, NOT security. Money allocated for security, can NOT be spent for anything else.

I'm starting to see value in the idea of a new version of Schoolhouse Rock that could be run on Sat mornings when people like boobie are eating Capt. Crunch and watching cartoons.

I notice Phil that you didn't mention anything about the wildly inaccurate statements regarding the attacks that Romney gave the day of the attacks. Was he lying too? His statements were universally panned by people on both sides of the aisle.

Maybe you and Ida ought to run for the same political office? We can let the public decide.

Anyone watching the news as the attacks occurred and saw what was delivered by the administration and its spokespersons, with a degree of objectivity instead of through partisan blinders, doesn’t have to ask for facts concerning the spin that we were subjected to; the facts speak for themselves. There’s no conspiracy behind an examination of the facts.

You really should pay more attention to the news and listen to our Presidents speeches and news conferences.

It's "irrelevant" to the discussion of the Benghazi attack you want to have to ask you:

"Do you think the White House was behind the Benghazi attacks?"

How so?

"Facts are facts whether you want to believe them or not."

What facts Phil? This is the second time I've asked you to produce facts that contradict my position, and that of former Sec. of State Rice. I'm still waiting.

"The other “conspiracies” you speak of are irrelevant to this discussion."

How so, considering they are what triggered your question on the subject of Benghazi.

Is it really that unfair to ask you if you believe in these specific right wing fairy tales?

Chris, you’re so far into denial when it comes to this administration that there’s no sense even trying to have an intelligent discussion with you. Facts are facts whether you want to believe them or not.

The other “conspiracies” you speak of are irrelevant to this discussion.

Now would you like to revisit the right wing conspiracies you were attempting to distract from with your question?

Do you think the Newtown Massacre was a White House conspiracy?

Do you think the White House was behind the Benghazi attacks?

Do you think the White House released a "fake" picture of the president firing a shotgun on his birthday at Camp David, last Aug?

Do you agree with Ida Temple, that the UN is conspiring to confiscate every firearm in the US?

Was the president born in Kenya, a fact the President has concealed through an elaborate conspiracy?

I think it's beyond ridiculous to claim that the Obama administration would try and conceal from the American people that al Qaeda was behind the attack, considering their track record KILLING al Qaeda leadership, INCLUDING Osama Bin Laden. Remember him Phil? He's the guy, that the guy you voted for twice said he didn't think about much.

If anything, the administration had FANTASTIC reasons to hype the fact the attack was carried out by al Qaeda prior to the election. They even could have made political hay out of the fact that the Republicans in Congress aggressively slashed the embassy security budget prior to the attack, but they chose not to.

Please prove it. Why would they lie? You don't find Condaleeza Rice's explanation credible, or didn't Fox "News" share that with you?

In case you missed it, just try and google "Condi Rice Downplays Benghazi Criticism".

Or are you trying to play the false equivalency game?

Allow me to ask you a question Phil. If someone that is connected with the Obama administration makes a statement that turns out to not be true, would you characterize that statement as "a lie" 100% of the time? And remember, that a "lie" is an intentional attempt to deceive.

I'm afraid you're going to have to come through with a little more detail, as I have literally no idea what you're talking about Phil. Unless of course you're talking about the "outright lies" I just pointed out.

In fact Tex, I've seen conservatives both here, and out in the real world, just in the last few weeks alone, say the Newtown massacre was a conspiracy, the Benghazi attack was a conspiracy, that the President had signed "over a thousand" executive orders (the real, and readily available total is below 150), and the picture of the President firing a shotgun was faked.

How do you describe a group of people like that, without using the word "pitiful"? Now you support sending someone to DC that thinks the President was born in Kenya, and believes in a variety of UN conspiracy theories? Yeah, that'll solve a lot of problems.

It's also worth noting, that the same people here that wholeheartedly support the SAME people that slashed the embassy security budget, the same people that consider the State Dept. "the enemy", seem to be the ones screaming the loudest.

Can you explain that?

See it everyday right here Tex. And it's a pitiful display. One poster here has even said on at least two different occasions, that the White House orchestrated the attack. Imagine that.
