Don't forget to shut off those headlights on that battleship.

Well from someone who thinks HD stands for Head Doctor and then backpeddles because all his writings comes from Tom Clancey novels has to be given a pass.

A pass? Does that mean I get liberty this weekend? Comrade, you are far too kind to me.

"You were in Viet Nam with the Navy in the 80's? I rest my case."

Boobie, boobie, boobie, ****. Where did you acquire your reading comprehension skills? Or are you still in middle school? It's okay, at least you are engaging on some level. I never claimed I served in Nam. However, I trained and drank with men who did. Let me suggest you enlist when you are old enough. You might even become a man instead of a boobie. Now go rest your case.

Anything else before Nemo cuts our power?

"Fido and No class, spent a worthless lifetime living in the 60's and expect us to take them serious?"

It was the early to mid 80's. Boobie, are you so egocentric that you actually believe that any sentient being would value your opinion? First, learn to kill the Buddha and the ego will follow...

'Class, my husband said you were spending to much, should have gone to Olonapo. LOL."

Ha! Sounds like something a salty ole' Master Chief would have told me. Tell your husband to rest easy, I've also been to Olongapo, where I spent many an hour with San Miguel beer, among other things I cannot confess to.

“Do you mean like our lastest liberal know it all suppossed to be veteran who think "HD" is some kind of medical degree and not and Honorable Discharge.”

Comrade, you disappoint me. Do you always think for others? It’s called projection. A trait that reeks of insecurity. Open your mind, read more, and familiarize yourself with such terms as tongue-in-cheek, and sarcasm. A good novel steeped in sarcasm is Hemingway’s ‘The Torrents of Spring.’ Me think you have a medical degree? Oh, no, I never thought that from that start, you do not, unless you give check ups to the fries at McDonalds. You see, Comrade, a peckerchecker is a Navy Corpsman. Is it clearer now? Mind you, down range they are very welcome, especially if they have to give you a lil’ stick of morphine. Comrade, I’m sorry you’ve never been to Subic where the Filipino girls whisper. “Me love you all night. Ten dollar.”

No Rick, please let me see what you mean. Do you mean like our lastest liberal know it all suppossed to be veteran who think "HD" is some kind of medical degree and not and Honorable Discharge.

But then again I'm sure he's never seen one.

Wow off to work and come back and this discussion went down the tubes. I was told to blank off a few days back. Never heard from that person again. What is with you people, can't the right just have a civil conversation any more?

Comrade, I knew it! I knew you talked like a peckerchecker. It's okay, peckercheckers were alwways needed after liberty at Subic. But you don't talk fleet-speak. I bet you were one of those sweet ones from Balboa Naval Hospital. They ran in packs. Comrade?

LOL

Angry? Thanks to your tax dollars, I have a bucketful of feel-good Meds (shhhh..opiates too) that would make Charlie Manson go Christian. However, you have me worried, for I now feel that you have removed me from your Christmas Card list. You know, the kind that show a smiling Karl Rove sitting on Dick Cheney's lap.

PS - shhhh...I know many, many progressive Vets.

"If you did serve I bet you got out on a medical discharge."

Comrade, you are beginning to impress me with your astute powers of observation. Yes, when active duty personnel suffer a service-connected injury or injuries, let's say, if someone suffers a hard landing in a Helo and they crush their leg, break their back, and suffer all kind of internal fun and games, then, yes, they are given a medical discharge. Would you expect them to get an medical discharge? Comrade?

"Nice try at a bluff, though, albeit an ignorant one."

To be considered intellegent one should never assume anything.

Fat fingers!

So, if I'm reading class right, he/she equates military service with being right or at the very least deserving of a pass when something dumb is said. While his/her anger may keep them going it will not serve them well in the long run. After 20+ years military service my father was the epitome of kindness and pragmatism. Not all vets are angry. Too bad you are showing poorly for other vets.

"1964 to 1972 Vietnam."

Amen. I trained and drank with many a SOG member from Nam. Great times. Later on, after my discharge, my good drinking buddy was one who had been injured at Khe San. Thank goodness he quit drinking, because it almost killed him. Too many memories from in-country. He was SC AT 100% for PTSD.
