I based my comments on what I read on this particular article. That's it. But I get your point. However, I've been complaining recently that they are not doing anything for the citizens that live here. Well this is something for the children that do. So I can't complain about this, I can't be upset that our tax dollars might have to be directed to improving our schools. This is one, of very few examples, that illustrate the city doing exactly what I've been saying they need to do, taking care of the city for those who live here.

Hum.? I agree Probably long overdue, and left over??? Get real there is NEVER any leftovers when it comes to construction projects.A good project manager makes sure the thing comes in on time and with-in the budget,he makes sure all the money is spent and not a cent more. As for leftovers... the dogs ate it...$10.6 million for new taxes Billtown.

I'm sorry, but I cannot find the "in large part" of left over funds. But sure, if there is any left over from somewhere, why not find a place to spend it, along with the increase in school tax!

I personally don't have a problem with this, it's refreshing to hear them say that the money will in large part come from left over funds from the Roosevelt Project. It sounds like they have a nice plan in place here for what they want to do and while you could argue it's unneeded perhaps, I think it'll make for a nice, more efficient school. Probably long overdue honestly.
