Nice article, unfortunately, full of 'cherry-picked' information. Habitat for humanity, good, recyclable material, great, 40 apartments and 32 townhouses, wonderful; Washington, D.C. investment bankers, what the? Now the term "Brownfield" comes into play. Have our city Lords and Ladies EVEN considered that when a parcel of land is deemed 'brownfield', the property value is greatly reduced? NOW, we're talking E.P.A., contaminants, and health risks to future inhabitants of the property... We're talking More than lead paint and asbestos here kids!
