February 9, 2013

It is time to clarify some misinformation regarding the so-called "assault rifles." First, they are not true assault rifles. They are imitations of military assault rifles....

"There is a big difference between "assualt rifles" and "assault weapons"

Clearly. One of them can be used to kill a whole bunch of people very rapidly in a confined space, and the other...wait a minute.

If this is a good argument they should legalize grenades for anyone who is a crappy shot. It's only fair; fairness is freedom baby!

Hi premier, thanks for recognizing my greatness but the mighty part is a stretch.. the most I've ever benched is about two fifty, above average at best. Regarding the rest of your comnent, sorry, but it's not likely that your viewpoint changed from one letter to the next.. the inference is clear. And, misguided, one of the biggest culprits is in our own backyard, no less than Corning, Inc.. it's almost as absurd as crafting a voter id law that focuses on an ancillary problem. Have a nice day, teaching a private krav maga lesson this morning..

Mr. Hayes, respectfully sir the thread was about "assualt rifles" and you included 2 in your post that were not. I simply pointed that out. There is a big difference between "assualt rifles" and "assault weapons".

Oh great and mighty Buff, why don't you read my comment more slowly.

I didn't say my post was taken down, his post was that I responded to.

The man complained about not recieving enough funds because of the tax paying "ignorant morons" so yes I commented on that. And rightfully so. From now on how about keeping rebuttals in the same thread.

Hi premier, your comment on Feb ninth. at six twenty eight am was not taken down, I just checked. It is there that you made your misguided comment, for which I called you out. Subsequently, you seemed to double down by asking 'where did I ever post about government checks'. All I did is dredge up your own words, your fiegned outrage is paper-thin.. you may want to simply drop it, premier, I think you know you're in the wrong here..

"Hayes what the h*** is you problem? I correctly pointed out that a Tech9 and the UZI are not rifles and you start freaking out over this silly stuff. Did your ego little bruised?"

Actually, I CORRECTLY pointed out that the '94 Assault Weapons Ban included weapons BY NAME that don't fire .223 ammo.

I also CORRECTLY pointed out that what ammo an "assault weapon" takes, has absolutely zero bearing on if it would be included in a ban or not.

Feb-09-13 8:02 AM For an example of the ignorant moron referenced by yoxtheimer, please see premiers comment below..

I remember the post I commented on by yoxtheimer Buff, unfortunitly you or someone else had it removed.

I wonder why?

"I'm surprised your willing to abandon them so easily"

Not sure what you are referring to Hayes. I do not label different groups with stereotypes. Just because someone doesn't want to live under the thumb of big government does not automatically make them biased against people because they differ in some way. That is a lie that is promoted for the sole purpose of acquiring votes. Obviously, it is successful.

Hi class.. as usual, I completely "agree.. ignorance the likes of which bobbie2 continuously displays is hardly worth noting or getting excited over. Off to the movies, Les Mis at the Victorian tonight."

Haven't seen it yet, but it's on my list. I heard Ms. Hathaway is outstanding in her role.

Boy oh boy BUFF your taking after all the other Liberals on here.

Where in the post I submitted did I say anything about checks???????

I mentioned the word "unemployment" and you dredge up all kinds of fouls things {according to you} that I was saying. Did Obama just issue an executive order declaring that word to be offensive to our seniors ,military people with disabilities and people on welfare.

Your as bad as Hayes. Enjoy you lunch. Bye.

I'm surprised you're willing to abandon them so easily, I'm guessing just because they failed the Republican party so completely in the 2012 election.

Hi premier, it's good to see that you can remain light-hearted as my relevent post below was as much a jab a bobbie as yourself. It's just my opinion but it seems as though you have a preoccupation with folks recieving some sort of government check. Assuming you aren't referring to members of the military, or senior citizens, or individuals with disabilities, it seems as though you are referring to those on public assistance, ie, welfare. With the fact that corporate welfare in the form of subsidies, deductions and bailouts costing the average taxpayer far more than the individual, your moral outrage seems misplaced. Indeed, the recent emergence of evidence in AZ, WV, Fl and IN should have done much to dispell the republican notion that those on public assistance are to blame the nations fiscal state of affairs. But, it apparently has not.. have a nice day, making my niece homemade pizza for lunch.

Perhaps the second comment could be considered dead as surely there will be no drop in unemplyment figures for at least 5 years. But I am sure Mr. Hayes can get educated at some point on guns.

All right, I agree that "sport" may not be the word best used for the hunting activity. The implication that we are all out of shape slobs struck a nerve. I'm sure you didn't appreciate the "lazy ass" comment either. Have some Crown with your bro-in-law and enjoy your day. (handshake)
