"This is hardly the first time the term limits idea has been advanced.
But it seems more appropriate than ever given the way Washington is working right now."

Yeah...let's make every effort to ignore the fact..."the way Washington is working right now" is the direct-result o' those 'Baggers (many, of whom, are 2010 "alumni") who've insisted GRIDLOCK is (somehow) the best way to "run" D.C.

I feel your vote is term limits. If you don't like him/her vote them out, if you do like him/her leave them in.

I agree with Rick. If our ability to vote isn't sufficient to keep our elected officials "on their toes", then I don't think that term limits will be very effective.

David...you might have a point if it wasn't for the fact that people usually only vote for the names on the ballot. Political parties will only back those individuals that have 'influence' within the party structure. If you have TERM LIMITS....the parties will be forced to find a new person to back...This doesn't necessarily mean any candidate will be better than the last. Most candidates are just a puppet for the agenda of the party...TOO bad for the rest of us!
