I'm no Clinton apologist, but: "you and I know about much worse actions of the Clinton's 8 years in the White House"? We do? Really? Like what? Are you suggesting that adult shenanigans are somehow worse then breaking in to Democratic headquarters and then repeatedly trying to obstruct justice? I'll bet most of us here have been involved in some sort of adult shenanagins, and none of us here have been involved in breaking and entering.

Don't you just love how people simply dismiss Bill Clinton's sexual relationship with an intern as nothing important?
The fact that he (the POTUS) lied under oath about the relationship is irrelevant to so many.
Feminists were happy to see CEOs fired for having sexual relations with interns.
In the 2012 primary, an allegation of a sexual relationship with a co-worker forced Herman Cain to suspend his campaign. If only he was a Democrat.
But that is typical, liberal hypocrisy on display.....again.

I never said it wasn't important Erik. I simply said that it didn't rise to the level of Nixon's crimes. And it didn't.

Francine, There was never any evidence that Nixon knew about the breakin before it happened. He was accused of covering it up i.e obstructing justice using many of same tactics Clinton used to obstruct justice. Nixon's problem was that he didn't have a friendly press to cover it up for him.

I remember Watergate..." - Jean Fuller

You (QUITE) obviously DON'T!!!!!
Watergate was ALL about "getting" Daniel Ellsberg, for releasing the Pentagon Papers. Oh...and, there was that "little" matter of all the "hush"-money, paid-out, after the BUST!!!

"The charge against Nixon was minute compared to a look now. President Nixon tried to cover-up the action of his Party members who broke the lock to the democratic office door."
Nixon sent men to break into the Democratic National Committee headquarters, and wiretap the phones.
Nixon also sent thugs in Sept 1971 to break into Daniel Ellsberg's psychiatrist's office, and steal his patient file, to look for dirt they could leak to the press.
The stuff Nixon did is even shocking today. Someone mentioned Hunter S Thompson. Thompson once said of Nixon, he was so crooked, he needed servants to screw his pants on every morning, and that pretty much sums it up.

Hunter Thompson on Richard Nixon:
"If the right people had been in charge of Nixon's funeral, his casket would have been launched into one of those open-sewage canals that empty into the ocean just south of Los Angeles. He was a swine of a man and a jabbering dupe of a president. Nixon was so crooked that he needed servants to help him screw his pants on every morning. Even his funeral was illegal. He was ***** in the deepest way. His body should have been burned in a trash bin....
Let there be no mistake in the history books about that. Richard Nixon was an evil man -- evil in a way that only those who believe in the physical reality of the Devil can understand it. He was utterly without ethics or morals or any bedrock sense of decency. Nobody trusted him -- except maybe the Stalinist Chinese, and honest historians will remember him mainly as a rat who kept scrambling to get back on the ship."

Eric you are so full of it. Talk about hypocrite look in the mirror you idiot. Because if the Obama administration is in the wrong then the Bush administration was equally wrong. The biggest complaint about Obama from the left is that he is carrying the Bush policies when dealing with the war on terror.
The biggest hypocrites are the right.

So, in your small, leftist mind, two wrongs make a right. Guess you're the idiot now, Chuckles.
