Dr.Masse you are so right on the seeding system. What a joke the District 2-4 AAAA is and now there is only one team that gets to move on.Thanks alot PIAA and District 1.The big pigs from down state all get to feast while the little sheep from up state get the crumbs.I've always felt that since the PIAA made the District 2-4 into one region it's a slap in the face for Williamsport being such a big school. The teams from District 2 only play us because they have to by PIAA rules, most of their schools the ones with the real good records every year want nothing to do and will not play Williamsport. They are afraid of us and steer clear of us until they have no choice come playoff time. Then it's all a matter of how fair the officials are in those games as for the outcome.Way to many times I have seen Williamsport go up there and not even have a chance because of the referees.Something needs to change again PIAA.

hoopsnmusic, you are missing the point, to seed teams strictly on wins and losses is a flawed system. A seeding system needs to be developed which recognizes teams who have difficult schedules. BTW, this same issue exists for D4 soccer teams.

Seriously, Chris? You want to see Sock vs Lewisburg for a 4th time? Lewisburg has already had three chances to prove themselves vs Sock. Yes, they have been competitive games, but so are Alabama vs LSU in college football. Nobody but Bama & LSU want them to play in the BCS final. Give someone else a chance. If Lewisburg is as good as they've shown (and you believe), they can meet up with Sock in the semis. Even if they loose for a 4th time, they can still win a consolation game to qualify for states and possibly meet Sock for a 5th time. But wait, that wouldn't be in the PIAA finals, so the PIAA must be flawed in THEIR seeding process by keeping Sock & Lewisburg in the same bracket based on their geographical location in the eastern part of our state. Finally, please remember the Miracle on Ice in 1980. I don't hear anyone complaining that USA's victory over USSR was somehow not as meaningful or memorable because it was played in the semi's.
