Anyone who thinks Little League is a non-profit organization is sadly mistaken. Futhermore, it is appalling they received a grant.

Furthermore, isn't EVERY kid that plays in the Little League World Series Tournament provided the necessary Equipment? (not sure of the specifics on that, I'm sincerely asking this question)
I do agree that $4Million could buy a lot of kids gear. I would love to see some sort of Athletic Fundraisers, outside of the 'required ones' the leagues actually do, to raise money for kids who need help with sporting equipment, not just baseball either.
I think the Williamsport Red Pop Warner Squads could really use an upgrade in their equipment and their field for instance.

In all fairness, the museum is designed to honor the children who have played here for so many years.

$4 million dollar could buy a lot of baseball equipment for kids that couldn't otherwise afford it. Little League International makes money off of the play of kids and then uses the money to ungrade a museum? Like taking candy from a baby!
