That $1billion, is being spent on the pensions of retired state employees. How does a retired State Convenience store worker, (Liquor Store) rate a 75% pension with full medical benifits? I'm sure Sheetz and Uni Marts don't offer the employee's the same package. We can no longer afford to pay people 25+ years NOT TO WORK! State pensions are an outdated concept that need to replaced by the employee contributed plans that the rest of us pay for as part of our retirement packages. We can't afford to pay for their retirements as well as our own. Privatize the State stores!!! Do away with full pensions!!!
