It is because of Christ's discipline in me (and no good of my own) that I don't further "foolish and vain imaginations" with you."

How do you know Christ isn't on my side? As long as Christ doesn't talk to you, you will be just fine. I understand why you can't have an open debate about your religion, and that is because it has all the elements of a fairy tale. Amen.

"I simply don't see the "derogatory" (as the word actually is meant) tone that one may reference here. Bobbie will use pet names often, but derogatory?"

Have I told you lately that your an idiot Relene? But please don't take that as a "derogatory" statement.

I notice the letter writer failed to mention the SEVENTEEN Americans killed in the 1983 Beirut Embassy bombing, nor the additional two Americans killed in the SECOND Beirut embassy bombing the very next year. I wonder why?

Could it be he's trying to block out what a weak sister of a president the sainted Ronald Reagan was?

"I've always suspected that you lacked discipline, and it now appears that I was correct."

"Let not a man be angry without a cause."

It is because of Christ's discipline in me (and no good of my own) that I don't further "foolish and vain imaginations" with you. Have a good day John!

"you can be certain that if Class is the individual some think he is, you would better understand my thoughts at this moment. I am most angry with myself for allowing Class to engage me and draw me out."

If it's any consolation, rest assured I am the individual I have always been. If this changes, I will let you know. Yes, you should be angry. I've been trying to engage you for a very long time and drawl you out. It finally succeeded. I've always suspected that you lacked discipline, and it now appears that I was correct.

Rolling Rock for everyone!

Buff,

I'm sorry you are disappointed. I simply don't see the "derogatory" (as the word actually is meant) tone that one may reference here. Bobbie will use pet names often, but derogatory? You are relatively new to this forum and you can be certain that if Class is the individual some think he is, you would better understand my thoughts at this moment. I am most angry with myself for allowing Class to engage me and draw me out. You and I have debated oveer many things, as I have with several liberal/progressive persons who post here and manage to bypass the personal assults. Please don't take my post below as personal, or this one. These thoughts in large part are directed to one to two people and they know who they are. :)

Bobbie,

I saw about three posts, out of the numbered posts here and I'm missing something. Which posts did you intentionally insult someone, anymore than others posters here?

what about the 54 killed on Bush's watch???? oh yeah that was swept under the rug, same as him and condi lying about wmd. I say bring all our troups home now, and let those in the mideast fend for themselves. Then there wouldnt need to be any cuts in defense spending either.

Well Buff,

At least you have the common decency to use the correct username and not a personally offensive terminology. :)

Yes, rmiller, I must agree with class regarding the posts below, for the simple reason that you are only citing one example when every single post from bobbie deliberately insults someone.. and always has. Be well, mi amiga..

"but your post loses all credibility when you use term like "boobie."

Who's looking for credibility, especially in dealings with you? BTW, 'boobie' is purposeful and anecdotal. Of course, I never expected you to grasp the allusion.

John.

Class,

"I talked to one of my colleagues about this, and he suggested it could be a sign of low self-esteem, lack of education, failure to set and achieve goals in life. Notice that with boobie,"

How are you withdrawing from the use of CAPS? You may inject some use of grammar, but your post loses all credibility when you use term like "boobie."

But John, that's nothing new, is it?

“Yep ya can cash your government check, perch on a bar stool and crow.”

More stimulating, intellectually profound musings from one of the best the Conservatives have to offer? The theme never changes: government handouts, parasites, etc. I talked to one of my colleagues about this, and he suggested it could be a sign of low self-esteem, lack of education, failure to set and achieve goals in life. Notice that with boobie, his remarks are never based on logic, reason, or the intellect, rather they are quite puerile, and akin to what one would hear from the snotty-nosed kid on the playground who never gets picked for pickup games. However, boobie, anyone can change with effort and passion. Good luck. You will need it.

"One thought.....however....we didn't vote this enemy in and neither did the majority of Americans. The machine is much larger than the voting machines we cast our ballot to."

Over the next four years we get to watch people like you moan, cry, and stomp your feet because you have suddenly become the minority. It's the kind of mindset that saw Romney get trounced. The electorate has changed and is changing. The white Christian oligarchy is quickly diminishing. At least there are some Republicans who are trying to change their views on immigration reform, gay marriage, etc. Why?

It pays to be a winner.

It has become clear that the right, thanks to Relene's post, do not know what the role of ambassador is.

Good post.

One thought.....however....we didn't vote this enemy in and neither did the majority of Americans. The machine is much larger than the voting machines we cast our ballot to.

"At Kent State unarmed peace demonstrators were gunned down by our military."

O.K., we'll give that one up. Since you posted this assertion, then try this for a counter/comparison. Neither you, I or the rest of the world knows with any certainty if it wasn't our military involved in this massacre. As for peace demonstrators? Last time I checked, ambassadors are peace demonstrators.

How was I being partisan by pointing out that deception can and is found in all instituions and people?

How am I being partisan pointing out that media influence covers a very large spectrum?

Why is it the outrageous partisan comments made by Bobbie and SF are not considered partisan but my reactions to their posts is?

It is clear you are partisan to begin with.

The right has no probelm displaying their partisanship either. They just never see it.

Jerry, I don't think Congress wants to act and I really don't think they should. We have more than enough expenses and military actions on our plate as it is. Cut ties, get our people out of these sh it holes and let those people figure it out on their own. We need to stop meddling in every country around the world with whom we have a differing opinion on how to govern. Unless they pose a direct threat to us, get out and stop the aid.

It's been 169 days since the terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11th.

The power to declare war rests with the Congress. When will Congress act?
