For all intents and purposes, the media seems to be the Ministry of Propaganda of the Democrat Party of America. Much like the German media became a willing participant in the rise of the Third Reich in the early 1930's.

Frankly, it doesn't matter what the media 'forgets about'. The American people won't forget. Tedeaux, I don't think you can label all media as "Propaganda of the Democratic Party", Republicans have their fair share too, the issue is you don't hear much from them because they don't control the White House. Getting back to the article, well intended article, the four individuals who's lives were taken from them do have families who remain, who mourn them and they deserve our thoughts and prayers.

What does it matter how they died? What does it matter who knew they were under attach and did nothing to go to their aid? What does it matter that a United States Ambassador was raped and murdered in the streets of Benghazi while the cameras were rolling, no lesss? What mattered is that Barack Obama was running for re-election and having this story, investigated properly might have cost him re-election.

Good morning all, let the be the first to predict how todays fun will transpire.. folks who support the right and hate Obama with a passion will be on here saying how it is all he, Hillary and the democrats fault. People who who believe in the democratic party will point to Iraq and ask where was the moral outrage for falsely taking us to war.. as is now widely accepted and supported by testimony and books. People will counter books are written on paper and can't be believed.. also simply that it's all lies with no subsequent attempt to validate the comment. And back and forth we go.. I have a number of friends who are conservative and I don't think any of them would ever wish harm on a fellow American, nor would someone like gw.. it is sad that people would actually think this about President Obama..

sadly the "machine" has moved this story to the back of the pile for political reasons. no different than the hundreds of Mexican's and a border agent killed and NO accountability. Such horror and resolve over Sandyhook or the Gifford event Shooting, but not focussed on the mentally ill aspect as it didn't serve the "machines" needs. We neglected the innocent people in these situations. In Egypt, we let TRUE heroes down. Their lack of selfishness was trumped by political worries. Shame on us all.

Your sentiment is commendable. We will never know the truth (well we do - just unable to access the video). Obama sat in the "situation" room, along with his cronies in crime and watched as four Americans died (no doubt without great pain) and did nothing. Serious breach of the Constitution, but then what did they know, that attributed to their demise? I'm puzzled that this administration, doesn't have broken bones in their legs from continually tripping over lie after llie after lie. All politicians lie, not all are a lie.

You are far too intelligent to accept the failure of this administration to (by law) defend and protect the citizens of this country. It's isn't an issue of blaming Obama. It is the subsequent lying that transpired post Benghazi that frustrates and angers Americans, regardless of political affiliation.

Buff, I enjoy your commentary as a rule. However, I believe today you are the one with blinders on. Our govt was involved in these deaths just as surely as if they had pulled the triggers. There were many requests early on for more security--denied. Weapons to support our goals were being run out of the consulate and the ambassador was involved--forgotten about. There were requests during the event for help--ignored. (How long does it take to scramble aircraft for support? They could have been there in less than 45 minutes until land troops arrived.) Where are the survivors and what do they have to say? This is a mess and you bet your as sses that if this were not a dem running things there would be shrill screeching that would make a banshee cower. It will be interesting to see how history treats this mess.

Amazing how ridiculous the right has become. You want to compare what happen at Kent State is the same as what happen in Benghazi. At Kent State unarmed peace demonstrators were gunned down by our military. It is nothing like Benghazi this is how twisted the right has become in their thinking.

Chuck, you are correct. But, what is the same is a govt that is making bad decisions and not owning up to them and lying to the people. In that respect they are comparable. Our govt is out of control and for some it doesn't matter until it affects them directly.

What we get from our government is deception, to be kind, and the media for the most part plays along. Politicians can perjure themselves and still end up being looked upon favorably. As long as we tolerate that by voting for them and allow ourselves to be influenced by the media, things will only get worse.

And for the sake of the partisans, I said government not Republicans or Democrats.

Yes Greg, it's much more shocking to see four State Dept employees killed at an extremely dangerous Middle Eastern diplomatic post, after Congressional Republicans SLASHED the embassy security budget, than to see US National Guard troops mow down college students on a US college campus.
