I heard on tonight's news that Head Start's budget wasto be cut by 5%. The report said that would lead to several centers being closed, hours shortened, early closure this spring, late opening in the fall, employees being laid off... all because their budget was cut 5%! It wasn't said that a 5% cut could result in any ONE of those results, but rather that it would result in ALL those outcomes. While still getting 95% of the money they were getting previously? That's really being intellectually dishonest!

Wait a minute!! The TSA is getting new uniforms at $1000 a pop, money to Egypt, 600 new jobs to fill at the government employment office, a million bucks for the President to play golf with T. Woods.... Yep, we better shut down the SELF guided tours at the White (Peoples) House. These 2% cuts in spending growth are really gonna hurt!!! When will impeachment start?

Hey Chuck, if feeding children is so important to you, as it is to me, why don't we use the money we give to Egypt for the 'so-called' starving children?

When are the right going to take responsiblity for what has transpired? Never. They are just going to whine about the results of their inability to do their job.

Tours of the WH is more important than feeding children to the right.

The President refused to take responsibility for where he could reduce spending but turned down the opportunity. I hate to feel this way, but when he shuts down the volunteer driven White House tours, WHICH COST NOTHING!!!!, I would say he wants to cause the public pain.

Hmmmmmmmmm....."..SEEMED to show.."????

Yeah...we wouldn't want to (actually) SEE that supposed e-mail, before developing an opinion; on-way-or-another.

It'd be (nearly) IMPOSSIBLE to maintain a Tea Party, pursuing such a radical-concept!!!!

"wishes to cut back on most of the frivolous entitlements"

So you would rather see people sick because they can't go to the doctor and see a lot of retirees live in squalor or homeless.

Saw a report on the news yesterday, the gov't. commisions a portrait of each new member of the POTUS' cabinet at a cost of $38,000 ea. The same can be achieved at Shutterfly for under $100. That $$ would pay alot of wages. Just one little expense they could trim.
