March 10, 2013

I've grown quite weary or reading letters and editorials for those who think guns are toys. Guns for a civilian are essentially recreational and in many cases a vis....

"I would really like to believe in this country again and that there are brighter days ahead but it's really difficult when the culture is saturated with doomsday prepping morons and religious nuts filling people's heads with dangerous propaganda."

Mr. Yoxtheimer, you forgot the biggest crowd that is threatening your freedoms......the liberals!

Mr. Yoxtheimer, it is only in your small, liberal mind that people think of guns as toys. And only a narrow-minded fool such as yourself would think that civilians owning a gun is only a vice.

It's time you grow up & get a broader perspective of life.

It's ironic that Daniel doesn't understand that it was the gun toting religious zealots that created this great nation in the first place! Furthermore, if things keeping going in the direction that they currently are, those same gun totting religious zealots may be the ones to bring back the country that Daniel longs for!

Another liberal who knows what is best for you because he believe he is smarter than his "nimrod" neighbor.

This is how liberals view you, folks!

Liberals see you as nimrods in need of their wisdom. They look at their fellow citizens and recoil in horror.

That is also why they support abortion.....those are just nimrod babies anyways.

THAT is liberalism on display!

Then stop reading them. Problem solved.

This letter is full of lies and ignorance. No one has been killed with automatic weapons in this country. The NRA is a proponent of gun safety and would not back a gun owner who carelessly injured someone. Then Danny boy makes a comparison between guns and health insurance. I don't hear anyone claiming that guns should be mandated or paid for by the government, so what's your point. He also seems to insinuate that only morons and nuts think that the Consitution should be upheld. Well, Danny Boy, I've grown quite tired of people who use lies to make the point that my rights mean nothing.

I think the right to bear arms is contained in the second amendment, not the first.

And if you don't stand in front of your neighbor's target while they're shooting, you'll probably avoid being shot by them. You may want to keep that in mind.

We have unwritten rights to an income through welfare, an abortion and free birth control. The communistas tell us they have the right to let homosexuals marry and assorted other so-called rights that I do not see anywhere in the Constitution or Bill of Rights, yet when a right is listed in the Bill of Rights as "shall not be infringed" they deem it in their infinte so-called wisdom to deny it to the whole people because it does not fit in their agenda. Sorry excuse for a LTE.

I noticed that some of our favorite libs like hayes, shaman, buff, & rick aren't here defending their fellow lib. Chuckles is only one that decided to throw in his meager 2 cents.

That tells me that while also lacking in logic, libs also lack the integrity to call one of their own "on the carpet."

"I've said this before however it bears repeating. I completely defend your right to bare arms & the government shouldn't have any business taking your guns."

So...then you wrote a letter basically advocating gun bans for what reason exactly?

It seems it's not just your comments that stupid, it's your letters too.

No doubt. It's that whole Lazy Factor, as usual.

When you have TOO-many people who are adrenaline-junkies...as-long-as there's no effort/work required...entities, like FAUX Noise & Porky Limbaugh are MORE-than-happy to provide their "fix".

I'm guessin' there are ALSO too-many WWII-Gens, who (actually) miss the "rush" o' those "good ol' days" of the NAZI-"threat" (coming here) & the Cold War.

Pretty sure no one is advocating Guns or the ban of guns as a cure for cancer. However, Guns and Health insurance, like it or not, are two completely different issues. You cannot use the basis of regulation in Health Care for a basis in regulation for firearms and vice versa.
