Obama won because that's what those in power would have us believe. He did not win legitimately. Romney did not lose this election. Those of you who will no doubt espouse, "Where is the proof?" Back at ya.....like ""Where is proof that God exists?" Not one of you can prove this election was won by Obama, not with stats, numbers (orchestrated by media), blocks of minorities, or otherwise. The fact that some of you actually believe it is proof positive of your blindness. The majority did not vote this man in. What happened at the ballot box, is a sad commentary to this country's corruption.

Really? How so? I thought you people said the ACA will mean "rationing" of health care. How does a pharmaceutical manufacturer benefit if less people have access to health care?

Romney won by geography therefore he has the majority. Yeah we know Romney has more property than the parasites you loathe. The guy with the most possessions wins. Bobbie measures by size not actual numbers.

Romney also won with the states with highest federal money return and programs in those states. You know those who are the true parasites of the federal government.

Isn't it funny that a knuckle dragger can receive a chain email with a set of numbers in 2001, and they believe it without question.

Then they receive the exact same set of numbers, with only the names changed, in a chain email in 2005, and they believe it again.

Then they receive the exact same chain email, again with only the names changed in 2009, and they believe it again.

Then they receive the exact same chain email in 2013, again with only the names changed, and they believe it AGAIN.

Anyone else seeing a pattern here?

All due respect, your assertion assumes that all things being equal (which the aren't) individuals hold sway in elections. Perhaps, in another time, yes. As you have often suggested, there is a disparity between what is versus what could be. As an individualist, surely you realize the fallacy of your thinking. Corporate power, hence lobbies/unions ultimately hold sway in the ballot box.

Sure they do erik. For example, in 2012, the UAW spent $2.5 million on lobbying. Seems like a big number until you consider that in that same year, Pfizer alone spent $10.5 million. Over 400% more than the UAW spent, and there are a LOT more giant corporations, than giant labor unions. Corporate lobbying expenditures dwarf union lobbying expenditures.

Unions and corporations are more alike than you want to admit.

The most frequent visitor to the White House was the SEIU lobbying arm.

The UAW, AFL-CIO and other unions employ lobbyists, just like corporations.

Unions buy politicians, just like corporations via donations.

Unions buy access through gifts, trips and other perks, just like corporations.

Sorry, but you need to wake up and realize unions are doing all the same things that corporations are doing and that you rail against.

I suggest we stop both groups from doing this.
