Scary North Korea cares little for diplomatic niceties

North Korea’s government has declared the 1953 armistice that ended fighting in the Korean War has been canceled. Not to worry, a United Nations spokesman assured reporters the same day....

The UN is certainly not as influential as some in it may think. But, I do believe the years since 1949, would have been bloodier and more chaotic if the UN didn't exist.

"Clearly, the U.N. is intent on proving it is irrelevant." I don't think the UN wants to prove anything except that the free nations of the world have no business being free. That's precisely why the United States has, and should continue to, go it on her own.
