I agree with you Buff, because really, people like that aren't worth my time. They are truly beneath me because they are less than truly human. A true, genuine human, doesn't judge someone based on their personal, legal, choices. Doesn't look at adoption like it's some sort of sin. Doesn't look at the choice to love someone that they don't approve of as being wrong. Those people, probably are failing at their own life so to make themselves feel better, they decide to target others with cruelty and injustice. They're the worst kind of human being. Times are absolutely changing. It's a free-spirited world now. I always have and always will support Gay Rights! I may be a straight, married man with children, but I will gladly stand beside them and fight for their equal rights and liberties!

My earlier comment: "I support the right of gay people to love and marry whomever they choose." presently has 12 like and 3 dislikes.

I've been posting to this forum for a while and I've never gotten 12 likes on anything I've said, ANYTHING, until now.

If there was ever proof that the times, they are a changin', that is it.

"please explain just how reproduction works between same sex species"

So let me get this straight, people that are married and have no children, aren't really married?

And incidentally, to answer your question, it works through adoption, in vitro fertilization, and surrogate mothers. Surprised you haven't heard of these things.

Apparently promoting the material found in bogus chain emails isn't one of little boobies "natural rules".

Bobbie, now you're talking out of your arse. The "natural rules" you are referring to stem from what is written in your bible. Societies that have followed "my rules" have become extinct? Bull! This isn't the only place in the world where there are people who choose a Gay lifestyle. Not one of those 'societies' are extinct. Heck, THIS society isn't even extinct. That's definitely going on the list of the most ridiculous things I've heard.

You basically used the argument it had nothing to do with the bible, but using it as your excuse.

"are you saying that you want to outlaw a Gay Couple the right to adopt"

Yes" - Bobbie

You officially make me sick. It's people like you that put the world in the state that it's in. It's people like YOU that shouldn't be allowed to have kids because I'm sure your raising your kids to be just as hypocrital as you are.

Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. You can take your bible and shove it up your ***

"Yep the days of honest work and caring for family and friends are over, just gimme gimme no matter the consequence to society. 51% can't be wrong." Bobbie

This is one time I think you're an idiot. Because someone is Gay means they aren't capable of having a family? Aren't capable of making an honest living? Or are you saying that you want to outlaw a Gay Couple the right to adopt and work with the genera public..or more so, just that you wouldn't want to work with someone who is gay? What a pompous ***.

Children who are adopted should be adopted by families who will provide for them and give them the love that they need; regardless of whether or not that family is made up of a man and woman, two men, or two women. And a persons lifestyle certainly does not determine their work ethic. If you want to disagree with me, fine, do so and present a reason but that...that was just a stupid statement.

Apologies. You lemmings (all) look the same, to us.

If you require some kind of honorable-mention, be sure to scream (in your best Snookie Palin impersonation) "MY TURN!", before you plummet off the cliff of FreedomWorks' choosing.

Like it or not, you're right public opinion is changing.

The path to Righteousness no longer runs through the "Christian Strongholds", it runs through the land of free thinkers and home of the open minded.

Shaman isn't wrong, the ballot-boxes are the only proof you need that the United States of America is becoming a place where people are more free to live how they choose and that those who oppose doing so are losing ground, fast. Your days of pushing beliefs upon others and controlling the right of choice is disappearing. The sooner you get used to it, the better off you'll be. Because the rest of us aren't going to slow down and wait for you.

...And, then, there's that pitch to lemming-herders:

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a SIMPLE matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in ANY Country." - Herman Goering @ Nuremberg Trials

Also, do me a favor, don't label me as a liberal or a conservative based on my beliefs. Because frankly, I'm neither. I find myself on both sides of nearly every issue, I try to consider each point and find a compromising resolution. Maybe that's why I'm not a politician because I believe the best solution is not the one that's best for liberals or best for conservatives, but best for everyone. But when it comes to this issue, I think what's best is for the "christians" to step down off their pedistal and stop trying to force people to live according to their 'cult code'.

-continued-

Of all the problems with have in this world, the "problem" you choose to focus on is how someone lives their life. They're not doing anything illegal, they're not hurting anyone, they're not forcing their beliefs upon you, so stop doing it to them. Honestly, this "issue" being made into an issue is one of the biggest issues I see in America right now. Not the issue itself but rather the idea of the issue and its focus. This country and its politicians are focusing on things that should be of the least of their concerns. What they should be focusing on is creating lower taxes, cutting spendings, reducing the deficit, improving education, creating more jobs. But nope, day in and day out, the people in this country turn their focus to the hatred of those different from them.

All you people who keep writing this letters, protesting funerals for people who were gay, advocating against gay rights make me f****ng sick! I'm sorry but it's time for you all to stfu and leave them alone. They're humans, let them live the way they want to live. You think they're going to hell? Fine, who cares, believe that all you want, just keep it to your ****ing self because the rest of us don't give a s**t! Most christians act all high and mighty, like they're above ridicule, but they're not, frankly, many christians are among the most hypocritical human beings in existence.

This letter is wrong. 100% and the author comes across as a judgemental moron. Don't like that? Find it offensive? I'm okay with that because I'm sure those who are Gay find your letter offensive.

The President has every right to support GLBT and frankly HE SHOULD.

I am straight and I'm married and have a son. I come from a very christian family that is full of ministers. When I raise my son I'm going to raise him to accept people for who they are. To appreciate that people are unique and different and that he shouldn't judge a person just because that person doesn't choose his lifestyle. Just because they live a certain way doesn't make them a bad person. This whole "Biblicize the Political Legislation" is a bunch of B.S.!

I have a few friends that are Gay and when I look at them I don't see someone who is gay. I see someone who is genuinely a good person and cares about their friends, lives their life in a way that makes them happy. They don't try to force their
