"In regards to the opinion letter "A destructive plan" yes, the President is wrong to support gay marriage. I am sorry to see that he is in favor of politics over common sense and better judgement as "Don't Ask Don't Tell" always worked well for the military." - Howard Ebner

No...the President was right...and, the U.S. military jettisoned "Don't Ask Don't Tell", much like they'd round-filed their version of "Separate, But Equal"...in the interest of military cohesion; i.e. "We're ALL in this, TOGETHER."

I support the right of gay people to love and marry whomever they choose.

The GOP really needs to focus on something else. This is a toxic issue for them as public opinion is changing and the party is starting to self destruct. You lost on immigration and soon this, so you might try guns. I see the Tea Party of Williamspott is hosting a pro gun advocate GOP member, you might want to attend so you can hoot, holler and chant like they did in those primaries last fall and then you can feel good afterwords.

Rick424---I see the Tea Party of Williamspott is hosting a pro gun advocate GOP member,

Very good Rick! Did you read that all by yourself or did a grown up help you with the big words??

Why bother?

Libs/Progressives would be much-better-served (and, display more maturity than T-Baggers are capable) by simply ignoring this event. Besides, it's not our nature to pick-on/harass minorities.

"" public opinion is changing ""

The national Media would have us believing that to be true.

But then, they will say anything if it will generate Advertising revenue..!

Like the old saying goes...

Tell a Lie often enough & long enough and it will be accepted as truth.

Only the brave challenge political correctness.

Speak for yourself Rick. As far as I've seen it's great for America when they focus on their own bigotry and intolerance.

What would the left's former pride and joy Senator Robert Byrd have to say about this?

This is just way too easy anymore!

The GOP lies to themselves about how misunderstood they are. No one is misunderstanding the GOP they just don't like them.

Chuck, if your definition of psychos is leading the country from this current destructive path, then count me among them.

Quick question, how is the CPAC not going to lead us to this so called destruction. Seems the opposite to me.

Rick424--"Quick question, how is the CPAC not going to lead us to this so called destruction. Seems the opposite to me."

Interesting that you think a conference of speeches that has no legislative power will cause mass destruction. What's next? The threatening "TED" conference????

Keep it up Rick! You are a treat here!

How can you tell CPAC is insignificant?

Because they LOVE Sarah Palin, who is also insignificant.
