steelerfan today at 1:53PM "that's not what I said Buff"

steelerfan yesterday at 4:03PM "same thing with condescending idiot Bobbie"

Are you sure you didn't call boobie an idiot? I'm not sure how else to interpret the statement you made. What a great example of lying.

"There’s no need for any of us to list the lies, they’re readily available to anyone interested in the truth"

IOW Phil, you can't name a single thing the President lied about either. This is all very interesting considering the few things that two people said the President lied about, were clearly NOT lies.

I think at this point it's pretty clear that at least part of the reason nobody can provide a single example of any of these tens of thousands of so called "lies", is that me debunking them makes it marginally more difficult to maintain the fantasy construct they live inside of.

I'm curious if you understand Phil, that just because you disagree with someone's position, doesn't mean they are a "liar"?

"Spike, I don't have those numbers, but here's on for you. 40 cents of every dollar spent by the federal government is borrowed. How long would you last if you tried to live like that?" - enigma

*

Very simple!! We'd "only" require those same kind o' $pecial Appropriation$, that BU$HCO required (to keep War-spending off-the-books)!!!

"Exactly how much of the debt since Obama took office is interest? does anyone even know the interest rate by the various "lenders"? how much is attributable to an unfunded war? how much is "new" debt?" - spike2

It'd probably be best to make your inquiries to the original-issuer.

“This coming from someone that says the President lies all the time, yet can't muster a single valid example.”

Chris, you really should read or listen to a compilation of Obama’s speeches and news conferences, they’re full of contradictions and down right lies. Poor Jay Carney has to have the toughest job in the world trying to cover for those contradictions and lies. There’s no need for any of us to list the lies, they’re readily available to anyone interested in the truth, which obviously doesn’t include you and a few others here.

Spike, the last figures I saw on the interest cost us 220 bilion a year and is project to be 1 trillion by 2020. With that being said the interest is paid yearly and does not add to the debt.

Imagine what we could do if we were debt free. We need to find a way to pay this off and keep our money here.

And I documented clearly, and specifically why they weren't lies. You certainly didn't dispute my logic, so nows your chance.

You can either dispute my reasoning, or if that's too challenging to you, please produce another example.

Maybe it will help if you keep the following in mind:

a lie is when someone KNOWINGLY states something that is untrue, with an intent to deceive others.

I listed several on other posts of Obama's lies. It's just that you and the other wackos refuse to accept them as lies.

PS Vince, maybe you'd like to provide some type of documentation on that, because, as you know, it's a lie.

" Democrat candidates are endorsed by the American Communist party every election and they never distance themselves from it"

Vince seems to be saying that the American Fascist Movement should be embararrased to be supported by a tea party leader. I know I would be.

" do you understand that money spent on debt could be better spent elsewhere"

I think we have a system of elections to address how money is spent through representation. How'd that go for you in 2012 again?

"A tea party leader in Texas is defending his promotion of the American Fascist Party as something he thought was “pro-Constitution, pro-America.”

Democrat candidates are endorsed by the American Communist party every election and they never distance themselves from it. What's your point, Chris, in pointing out one example of a nutjob that says he is a tea party member?

Hey steelerfan.. I saw mike pence, R, from OH, when asked about big oil subsidies say, quote- we don't want to upset the status quo. But, for some reason, you think republicans are serious about the debt they largely created? Why, exactly..?

Hi erik.. your tea party representatives request funds to help out their districts, just like the rest of the bunch. The one from, I think AL, requested and received an obscene amount of money for a rural airport that serves virtually no customers. The republican from ok got funds for an airport that averages one private jet per day. Republicans are guilty of wasting money too, erik.. keep trying, I could keep this up all day. Btw, why are you not capable of being a teacher?
