Well deserved

Naming the slabtown bridge for Mr. Logue is well deserved. I knew him for 50+ years and worked for him for eight. Ultimately he fired me (I agreed) but then became my best friend....

After living and working in the area for only two years, I personally unaware of Mr. Logue's story. Maybe someone could add a little to this story to fill me in on the real low down on his life?

Just use the search term "George Logue" in the SG search bar and read his obit. It's the 13th article listed.

Mr. Logue deserves to have a bridge named after him. His company did a lot of road work in our area and he was solid citizen of his community. Now, since the author brought up "subsidies of tax relief or outright grants.", it is worth remembering that road work is usually a public project. And I imagine his company took advantage of tax laws as well as doing work that was funded by grant money. I think the author cheapened his memorial of his friend by adding comments about tax relief and grants to this letter.
