It sounds like this agency was overspending a little to begin with.Free trips to the casinos for people living in public housing? Really? People living in public housing (subsidized rent) can afford to go gamble? Free cleaning service? I wish I could afford that. This is just one little agency. Can you imagine the wasted tax dollars nationwide?

Sounds like some of the bought and paid for votes are going to reap a little of what they were promised wouldn't happen if they voted for Obama.

Let's talk about hypocrisy.

Children on spring break are being turned away from touring the White House due to the sequester. The reason given is that the Secret Service is short-handed.

But just this weekend, the President's children were spotted in the Bahamas on spring break with friends and a Secret Service escort of up to 25 agents.

So, the children of common folk pay the price of the sequester while our ruling elite decide their own children are more important.

President Obama, proves again, that he is detached from the ordinary American.

I concur with the previous comments with this caveat--it is unfortunate that those who truly need these services will be hurt. More evidence that we need to work toward getting people off these programs and we need to reevaluate all agencies and their staffing.

Erik - besides complaining just about this president, did you do any research at all at what past presidents have done vacation wise? Perhaps you should. Although not an Obama supporter, comparisons should be fair.

"" President Obama, proves again, that he is detached from the ordinary American. "" I think this could be said for most ALL politicians, both sides.

If President Bush vacationed in Hawaii, Martha's Vineyard and other wealthy areas while U-6 unemployment stood at 15%, 45 million on Food Stamps, etc. every liberal on this forum would be whining.

The media would be running the stories daily about the lifestyle of the President contrasted with an unemployed autoworker.

Four vacations for the First Family since he was re-elected.
