I do not oppose decriminalizing marijuana possession or use.

However, how do you liberal reconcile this with your stand on cigarettes?

eriklatranyi,

That's easy...

The rules are already in place..!

Treat it like cigarettes. One can buy it, carry it, and smoke it at Non-Public areas. Basically the same rules as smoking tobacco.

Unlike yourself, MOST "people that work for a living" see no benefits to having a full-time babysitter.

Rob112, has it right; how well prisoners are treated! They get free or low cost medications(mostly free), they can be seen by a doctor or PA immediately; of course at zero or low cost, they can request certain benefits of a lower bunk or a custom mattress for a claimed back condition, they can bring litigation against the prison/staff for free, of course 3 hots and a cot daily. This is prison people, open your eyes to how well prisoners have it there. Why do you think there are so many things going around facebook about sending the elderly to prison and letting the prisoners spend their days in nursing home! I've seen conditions in both and I'd take the prison when i'm that age! Lets get back to prison work camps and community projects by prisoners. Make them not want to go back, that would stop the overcrowding.
