When a liberal wins an election, the opposition must be silent and compliant to the liberal worldview.

When a conservative wins an election, the opposition is praised for tempering radical rightwing zealots.

When Conservatives have the power, the Liberals ask us to move toward their point of view in the 'spirit of compromise'. When Liberals have the power, compromise goes right out the window.

Erik, Steeler, you are wasting key strokes to point out the hypocrisy and the silliness of the letter. I would bet if we all grew beards, didn't shower for a couple of weeks, donned sandals and flowers in our hair, got some cheesy signs and marched around with a silly rhyming chant then it would all be good. They would recognize that demonstration of push back!

The letter write talks about "the will of the people" except when they voted for Prop 8 in California......then "the will of the people" must be challenged in court.

CA Prop 8 vote: Yes:52.2%, No:47.8%

CA Presidential vote: Obama:60.24%, Romney:37.12%

It was Democrats who voted to ban gay marriage in CA.
