Changing nature’s law

April 15, 2013

God made man and woman different from one another, isn’t that correct? Why? He made all His creation that breathe, birds, monkeys, bear, lions, elephants, cows, bulls, all male and female....

rmiller, I can not predict the future. That's like asking an ape what they will become in a few hundred thousand years. I mean come on, be reasonable.

garder,

I didn't say only homosexuals get STD's.

And, after we've become humans (given your readiness to accept you came from an ape) what do we evolve into next?

I believe thousands of years of evolution sets us apart from other animals, not homosexuality.

To what end does society draw the line? I would say any consenting adults can do whatever they want in their own bedroom, as long as they are of age where they can make an informed decision. If you believe that this will send them to Hell, than that's fine. Let them go to Hell, it won't affect your blissful marriage in any way!

Straight people get STDs too. I don't see why you would single out homosexuals.

garder54,

I guess your post refers to the argument previously made about behavior occurring in the animal kingdom versus humans. Perhaps that is what separates us from animals, you think? Or are you suggesting deviant acts with animals, which the Word of God also condemns? To what end does society draw the line? If it is an individual right, then medical issues such as STD's, Aids, and other sexual related conditions should be left to the individual to medically cover too. A person's right to ascribe their own ideals of morality, is a moral slide nobody truly wants. Let's not speak to "consenting adults" because that law has shifted over time.

Jean, amen to your statement...just too bad that people don't take a stronger stand against gays. Now with all of the tv shows on about gays, children are going to grow up believing it is normal. I feel so sorry for my son's children. By the time they are grown they are not going to know if they are dating a man or a woman, thanks to all of the sex changes being done. This is turning into such a sick world.

Spike,

Would you not agree with an assertion I made earlier that male homosexuals that become predators most likely would molest boys as opposed to girls?

Carl - please provide the source of your "scientific" knowledge. Locally, our dirty old married men produce the most cases of molestation. You don't need a scientific hypothesis when cold numbers exist.

usa,

Ecclesiastes 3: 21.

Addressing your post on animals and humans after death.

"Tens of thousands of children are sexually assaulted by their heterosexual parents EVERY YEAR. "

Where did I say this?

sideliner-"I'm not quite sure of the author's point, but if "God made all his creations," then he also made homosexuals. So what's the point?"

I disagree sideliner. God didn't make them gay. He allowed them a choice and gave them free will. I don't buy the 'born that way' theory.

"my God didn't die at Calvary for animals - they have no soul."

Dogs and cats have more "soul" than many human beings. Where is your proof they DON'T have soul?

Tens of thousands of children are sexually assaulted by their heterosexual parents EVERY YEAR.

As long as they are heterosexuals doing the assaulting, I guess it's ok with you?

Thanks Texas for the kind words. Hope all is well in that beautiful city you live in. You may have heard of Dr. Ron Comfort/Evangelist? He's got a website. His son-in-law is with us this week for our revival services. Different, very different but truly burdeoned for souls. Last couple of nights he hit the sin issues hard and tomorrow night the message is on Prophesy. He'll be with us until Friday. I pray that just one person here is open to the call of the Holy Spirit. The invitation is open, one maky never know if one will come again.

Long day; lots of posts to read.

Summary.....people are still trying to trade the natural functions for the unnatural.

Oh for all those people that felt that Boy Scouts ought to let in gay male leaders, go read the news articles that were referenced in the LTE posts. No connection between pedophilia and homosexuality....better recheck your research sources.

PS. Welcome back RM.

Good night all.

Hello David. All due respect to your post.... :)

I agree with your contention that bi-racial marriages faced intense prejudice. IMO, that was wrong ethically, morally and I would add...spiritually. God does not prohibit bi-racial marriages. His reference (and someone might bring this up) about being not "unequally yoked" is not referring to color of skin, as was used by racists. It refers to the spiritual bonding/or not. You raise the legitimate concern over, if this...then what next? Having said this however...color of skin is not a choice. Lifestyle is.

I believe the author is concerned about same-sex marriage. One of the problems I have with the opposition to such marriages is that the same arguments were used to object to mixed-race marriages. The arguments didn't work then, and I don't think they will work today. The one concern I have with same-sex marriage is that if gender doesn't matter than why should the number of people in the marriage? But, that is a concern, not a reason to ban same-sex marriage.

Hi steelers.. thanks for the initial interest. I've recently begun dating a lovely young woman who works at the hospital. She sold her home in 2011 and rents a smaller home right near her work but the homeowner won't allow cats. She's had arrangements in place for the cat for some time but the friend watching the cat is unable to do so any longer. It's an unexpected development but we're hoping to find a nice home for the cat soon. She's 11 years old (the cat, that is), is loving, good with kids and has all required veterinary services. Thanks to anyone who may be able to assist..

Now, why do we have more straight men in prison for sexual deviancy than homosexuals? Could it be, their desire for same gender*****is being fulfilled by partner? I'm guessing that male homosexuals don't sexually assault little girls often?

For those who want to make the argument that hetero-sexuals are deviant also, not one person on here would debate that fact. Carl has succinctly pointed out the probable vulnerability of the likelihood that sexual deviance among homosexuals would clearly have a higher risk than not....given their propensity to*****same gender..regardless of age. The prisons are full of sexual deviants (as defined by law). What we don't need is modern jurisprudence redefining what is for centuries, "marriage." Carl rightly speaks to the motive (always check the motives) of a person(s).
