He fits right in!

April 21, 2013

Think of it. We have world leaders today like Yong Jeng Mu, Abujinadad, Chavez (deceased), Castro, President Hussein (the guy in the White House), Putin and the ilk....

Don,

"It probably will not make any difference to anyone here but President George Bush stated that combat operations in Iraq were over. GW put on a flight suit that day and traveled by expensive military jet to the carrier when he could have taken a copter."

Are you kidding? Air Force One has been used for fly bys over NY City and every other possible wave of the magic wand of the tax payers expense and you're complaining about a trip by military jet to a aircraft carrier to see our men/women in military? "O" has been the most expensive welfare project ever.

Mission accomplished said, and mission accomplished implied are not the same. This is a military phrase, often used by military experts and or those who have served, are serving or have some grasp of what the term implies. I'm not sure if it was on this forum or another, but the phrase, "Alqueda/terrorists/islamists/whatever....are on the run...yeah in Boston." Now, that does hold merit. Their tentacles How the letter writer extrapolated that to be a condemnation of gay marriage is beyond me, plenty of other verses can be used for that. don't stop in Boston, and oh gee, do we have some "cells" in this country or is Boston their last and final attempt to bring this country to its knees?

"Leading and dictating are two different actions. One invokes self will on others, one seeks the will of others."

Relene you can't tell the difference along with the rest of the right.

It probably will not make any difference to anyone here but President George Bush stated that combat operations in Iraq were over. GW put on a flight suit that day and traveled by expensive military jet to the carrier when he could have taken a copter. He never said, mission accomplished, but I do think he implied it. Most of our fatalities and wounded came after that. Just to make you feel better, GW good, smart, perceptive, Obama bad, not smart, warmonger.

I just read the entire text of his speech and nowhere did Bush use the words MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. That was on a banner which was on the ship before he arrived.

Well said Rmiller. Too often sheeple confuse the two just because "their guy" is in office it is okay to tread on the law and the citizens. And both sides do it, but this joker is a special kind of belligerent.

Obama failing means America survives. Success for Obama means the end of America. It's along the same lines of hoping for failure for Hitler or Tojo during WWII.

Chuck,

"You know for a man who does not lead he is one heck of dictator according to the right. "

Leading and dictating are two different actions. One invokes self will on others, one seeks the will of others.

Now now Mr. Cohick,

You just stirred the pot of the "tolerant" who will tell us we are "intolerant" and on and on and on it goes. How about the fact that "O" is Muslim and everything he does is in direct opposition to a "free world."

Good letter.

According to President George W Bush in manly flight suit, said the war with terrorism is over while on board that aircraft carrier years ago. I wonder, what was incorrect about that perception?

Your facts are intentionally misleading and shallow, par for the course. That's like saying America has been attacked by Chesnya..

Alan, you paint with a very wide brush. You may want to rethink your group of "good" guys. They all had their black spots. Better than your group of "bad" guys? Certainly. But, they are/were far from ideal.

"Imagine if we had world leaders like Tony Blair, George Bush, Ben Natenyahu, David BenGurion, Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, we'd more than likely have peace and harmony."

LOL

The right is really very twisted in their thinking let alone being able to spell correctly names of the people they target.

Several suppositions. When making statements, please post the supporting sources whence they came from. I'd be more than happy to read all soures (both right and left), to make my own decision and form my own opinion, but when that's not supplied, it all comes down to unsubstantiated slams for, against both sides - facts, please....
